Infrared photography
What remains hidden to the human eye can be made visible with an infrared filter.
Infrared photography or IR photography, as it is called more briefly, is something fundamentally different in that it takes place outside the spectral range visible to us humans. Only the sensor in the camera as a tool "translates" the image that is not visible to us into a visible one. There is not the infrared photography par excellence, but many variations are possible, depending on the filter one uses. This special infrared filter is necessary to block out the visible light, because only then an infrared photo is created.

Infrared filter IR720 Infrared photography, or IR photography as it is known for short, is fundamentally different in that it takes place outside the spectral range visible to us humans. Only the sensor in the camera "translates" the image that is not visible to us into a visible one. This special infrared filter (also known as a black filter because it appears almost opaque to the human eye) is necessary to block out the visible light, as this is the only way to create an infrared image.
