This bayonet sun visor is specially made for the Sony CyberShot models DSC-RX1 and DSC-RX1R. The sun visor blocks sideways incident light. This prevents side-light reflections from lenses or mount parts, which can lead to image defects such as low contrast or lens flare. This ensures better image quality. In addition, the aperture absorbs light shocks and protects the lens front from light rain.
