For still images or video capture where a drop-in filter is not used, an empty drop-in cover is provided to occupy the filter holder accessory slot for these filters. The cover is then used to prevent stray light, which could have undesirable effects on exposure, from getting between the filter holder and the lens behind it.This aluminum alloy filter holder is pre-installed with two pairs of plastic filter slots and initially configured to hold two rectangular filters.
