This is where you will find the rules for complaints and returns. Please read this page carefully first.
As a general rule, please contact us first. The easiest way to do this is by email to kontakt (ät) fotichaestli.ch.
ATTENTION:
Please do not return anything before contacting us and discussing the procedure with us. We will not cover any postage costs that you incur on your own and without consulting us. If there is no explanatory email or note in the return shipment, the return will NOT be processed.
Product does not work or arrived broken:
In this case, please fill out this form and we will contact you about how to proceed.
We have delivered the wrong item:
This can happen to us too. We apologize in advance. Please contact us as soon as possible using this form. In this case, we will send you the correct product with a return postage paid label and an address label so that you can return the wrong item at no further postage cost.
Incorrect delivery address provided:
If you provide us with an incorrect delivery address and your order is returned to us, costs will be incurred for the return and resending. These amount to a flat rate of CHF 15.
Exchange: You want to exchange a product: Please contact us using this form.
Returns: We ask for your understanding that we generally cannot take back any products. If we do so as a gesture of goodwill, we will charge a small fee. You do not have to give us a 1-star rating on Google because we communicate it here and you can read it before you buy.
We also ask why you want to return the product, because it may be that we can improve the product description as a result. This in turn helps other customers.
If you are unsure about your purchase, please clarify any questions with us by email before you buy or come and see us in person at our shop in Langnau am Albis on selected Saturdays.
Cancellation or change of orders that have already been paid for and not shipped:
We charge CHF 10 for our administrative costs.
Incidentally, it is easier to exchange or return items in our shop. (CHF 5 and shipping costs will be deducted).
Legal disclaimer: Time and again, my customers tell me that they have a legally regulated right of withdrawal. However, this is not the case:
“Right of withdrawal: Swiss law does not provide for a withdrawal period or any other right of return after the order has been sent. The seller can opt for such a clause, but is not subject to any legal obligation in this area.”

Since we only do business in Switzerland, European law does not apply to our shop.
Each shop can regulate returns as it wishes. We follow the practice of most major providers.
We will try to process your request as quickly as possible.
