Adapter rings for the filter holder
The adapter ring is the connecting piece between your lens and the filter holder. Without it, the holder cannot be mounted. Here you’ll find adapter rings for the Haida M10 and M15 systems, available in both standard thread sizes and lens-specific versions for super-wide-angle lenses without a front thread.
Finding the Right Adapter Ring
There are two scenarios, and they differ fundamentally.
Lenses with a Filter Thread
If your lens has a thread on the front, you simply need a ring with that diameter—such as 67, 72, 77, or 82 mm. The value is printed on the front behind the “ø” symbol. The ring is screwed on, and the mount snaps into place. Note: You can’t use step-up rings here if the angle of view is wide. Each additional ring adds bulk toward the front and can cause vignetting with wide-angle lenses.
Lenses without filter threads
Super-wide-angle lenses with a curved front element and a built-in lens hood do not have a thread. For these, there are lens-specific adapters that grip over the hood and secure the mount there. These rings fit exactly one lens or a small group of lenses. The lineup includes adapters for the Sigma 14 mm Art, Sigma 14–24 mm Art, Sony FE 12–24 mm, Sony 14 mm GM, Nikon 14–24 mm, Nikon Z 14–24 mm, Canon TS-E 17 mm, Canon RF 10–20 mm, Fujifilm XF 8–16 mm, Tamron SP 15–30 mm, Tokina 16–28 mm, and Olympus M.Zuiko 7–14 mm.
Check your lens’s model name carefully, including version details such as DG DN or DG HSM. The front elements differ between generations, and an adapter for the older version will not fit the newer one.
M10 or M15
The rings are system-specific. An M15 adapter will not fit an M10 mount, and vice versa. Therefore, purchase the ring and mount from the same system, or buy them as a kit, to ensure the combination is compatible.
