ND filter plug-in filter ND 0.9 100 mm Haida
ND filter plug-in filter ND 0.9 100 mm Haida
ND filter plug-in filter ND 0.9 100 mm from Haida   The rectangular Haida Gray Filter ND0.9 provides shutter speed extension during exposure in a shot by reducing the amount of incoming light on the sensor. The Neutral Density 0.9 filter is rather weak and is particularly suitable for low-light shooting or videographers. A three-stop latitude allows photographers and videographers to work with a more open aperture in the midday sun. The ND 0.9 gray filter is particularly suitable for:Long exposures in low light when you don't want to extend the shutter speed too long. For example, for sunrises and sunsets or cloudy skies. Videographers are just as enthusiastic as photographers about the ND0.9 and use it for lower apertures in sunlight.  With an ND0.9 you can achieve the following shutter speeds: At 1/2000sec, the shutter speed increases to 1/250sec.At 1/500sec the shutter speed increases to 1/60secAt 1/125sec, the shutter speed increases to 1/15sec. Multi-coated optical glass reduces reflectionsThe Haida gray filter is made of glass that is ground and polished on both sides for durability and the highest optical quality. The two-millimeter-thin glass filter is free of color casts and offers high resolution. Its special multi-coating reduces the occurrence of reflections and makes the filter insensitive to scratches. Easy to mount with separately available adapter rings and filter holder. For mounting, screw the matching adapter ring from the Haida M10 filter system onto the lens and attach the filter holder to it. In this way, the graduated filter can be easily used with lenses from a focal length of approximately 16 millimeters on a full-frame camera (APS-C from approximately 11 millimeters).Up to three slots in the holder accommodate the desired creative filters. When inserting the ND filter, please make sure that the gray filter covers the lens properly so that no light enters sideways.   Metal box for safe storage and transportationThe filter comes with a metal box. This is perfect for transporting or storing the filter well protected. All advantages at a glance: Ideal for landscape photographyHigh-quality optical glass with nano coatingFor more open apertures in daylightAbsolute color neutralityEasy insertion instead of screwing (adjust image detail and insert filter directly)Scratch-resistant multi-coating suppresses reflectionsRed Diamond version, significantly increased break resistanceRounded R5 edges for easier mountingPart of a complete filter system with optionally available adapter rings and filter holder Technical details: Material: glass, multi-coated, scratch resistant, splash water protectedCoating: Nano Pro coatedPower: 0.9 (3 stops)Dimensions (W x L x H): 100 x 100 x 2 mmWeight: 65 g Scope of delivery: 1 x Haida Gray Filter ND 0.9 100 x 100 mm1 x transport box Gray filter calculationThe aperture reduction of ND filters is calculated as follows:The density of ND filters is usually given in steps of 0.3.To obtain the aperture reduction, first multiply the value by 10 and then divide by 3. 0.3 x 10 = 3 | 3 = 1 f-stop0.9 x 10 = 9 | 3 = 3 f-stops0.6 x 10 = 6 | 3 = 2 f-stops1.2 x 10 = 12 | 3 = 4 f-stops1.8 x 10 = 18 | 3 = 6 f-stops3.0 x 10 = 30 | 3 = 10 f-stops3.6 x 10 = 36 | 3 = 12 f-stops4.5 x 10 = 45 | 3 = 15 f-stops

Haida Rear Lens Soft GND0.9 Filter EFRF
Haida Rear Lens Soft GND 0.9 for Canon EF and RF
Many Canon camera bags contain an ultra-wide-angle lens that has been performing reliably for years: a 16-35, an 11-24, or a fisheye. What these lenses lack is a filter thread, because the front element is curved. As a result, when shooting against a bright sky over a dark foreground, you’re left with a choice between an overexposed sky and an underexposed foreground. This graduated filter attaches to the back of the lens and solves the problem right where there’s space. Soft gray gradient with 3 f-stops, density 0.9 Sits behind the lens; no holder in front of the front element No vignetting, unlike that caused by front-mounted filters The gradient sits securely; you can compose your shot around it For Canon EF and RF, also compatible with EF lenses on RF bodies Requires a compatible adapter; not included The filter is mounted at the rear, not the front For lenses without a filter thread An 11-24mm or a fisheye lens cannot accept a screw-on filter at the front because the front element protrudes too far. Attachment systems are available, but they are large, expensive, and require their own space in your bag. Here, the filter is positioned at the rear of the lens and doesn’t add any bulk on the outside. No vignetting Filters mounted in front of the lens quickly intrude into the image at extreme focal lengths and darken the corners. Because the filter is positioned behind the lens elements, this doesn’t happen at all—not even at 11 or 14 millimeters. Three f-stops of soft gradation Density 0.9 corresponds to three f-stops. “Soft” means that the transition from dark to clear is gradual rather than occurring along a sharp edge. For landscapes with trees, mountains, or buildings on the horizon, this is the option that doesn’t give itself away as a line in the image. Here’s what it looks like in everyday use Sunset over a dark landscape The sky is blown out, the foreground is underexposed, and you can’t capture both in a single shot. With a three-stop gradient, you can bring the sky back without sacrificing the ground. Fisheye with sky in the frame With an 8–15mm or a 15mm fisheye lens, you almost always have a lot of sky in the frame, and it’s almost always too bright. You can’t add anything in the foreground, but you can in the background. Architecture from below When you shoot upward with a wide-angle lens, you’ll have a bright sky above a dark facade. The same gradient brings both areas within a range that the sensor can capture. What you should know before ordering The gradient cannot be moved Unlike with a front-mounted filter, the transition is fixed in one place. You can’t move it to the horizon; instead, you have to position the horizon where the gradient is. This helps determine your composition. If you want to set the dividing line freely—for example, for a very low or very high horizon—you’ll need an attachment system. For the same reason, changing it isn’t something you can do in a snap: you’ll need to remove the lens to do so. The adapter is not included The filter alone isn’t enough; you’ll also need the right adapter for your lens. You can find it right here with the product—order it at the same time. If you’re unsure which one is compatible with your lens, give us a call before you order. It’s only compatible with certain lenses The filter is designed for ultra-wide-angle and fisheye lenses with a Canon EF or RF mount that have a rear filter mount provided by the manufacturer. These include, among others, the Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L, 16-35mm f/2.8L, 17-35mm f/2.8L, 17-40mm f/4L, 14mm f/2.8L, 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye, and 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye, as well as the Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 (both generations), Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 Art, 12-24mm f/4 Art, and 14mm f/1.8 Art, and the Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 RF. This list is not exhaustive. Ask us if your lens isn’t listed. If your EF lens is mounted on a Canon mirrorless body via an adapter, the filter will also work. It sits inside the mount, with the adapter mounted behind it. Technical Details at a Glance Type: Soft GND, soft gray gradient filter Density: 0.9 Effect: 3 f-stops Gradient: soft, fixed position Position: behind the lens Mount: Canon EF and RF, also compatible with mirrorless bodies via adapter Adapter: required, not included Package Contents 1 x Soft GND 0.9 filter 1 x protective and carrying case

ND filter plug-in filter ND 1.8 100 mm Haida
ND filter plug-in filter ND 1.8 100 mm Haida   Little Stopper Gray Filters ND1.8 are perfect for long exposures during sunsets.   The Haida rectangular ND1.8 gray filter provides shutter speed extension during exposure in a shot by reducing the amount of incoming light on the sensor. The Neutral Density 1.8 filter is a medium-strength gray filter - which is also called a Little Stopper - and is particularly suitable for long exposures of water, sunrises or sunsets. It is also interesting for videographers who want to film with very low apertures. A 6-stop latitude makes the surface look smooth and sleek in long exposures of water. For filmmakers, it allows working with very low f-stops in the midday sun. The ND1.8 gray filter is especially suitable for:Perfect for long exposures of water such as rivers, lakes, ocean, streams or other moving subjects.Videographers allows to work with very low apertures. For example, with apertures around F1.4.When flashing against the sun, for example in portrait photography, the ND filter allows you to extend the camera shutter speed into the range of the flash sync speed. With an ND1.8 you can achieve the following shutter speeds: At 1/2000sec, the shutter speed is extended to 1/30sec.At 1/500sec the shutter speed increases to 1/8secAt 1/125sec, the shutter speed increases to 1/2sec. Multi-coated optical glass reduces reflectionsThe Haida gray filter is made of glass that is ground and polished on both sides for durability and the highest optical quality. Haida Rear Lens ND Filter Kit Sony FE 12-24mm F4 G Lens
Haida Rear Lens ND Filter Kit Sony FE 12-24mm F4 G Lens
Rear lens filter suitable for Sony FE 12-24 mm F4.0 G A rear lens filter is a gray filter (ND filter) that is inserted directly into the bayonet of the lens. This has two advantages, firstly, gray filters are relatively small and do not require much space, and secondly, such gray filters are much cheaper than a plug-in filter system, which is mounted in front of the lens. Ultra-wide-angle lenses with a pom-pom front lens or a permanently mounted sun visor then require filters with a width of 150 mm, and such plug-in filter systems are expensive and bulky to transport. Rear lens filters are therefore a good choice for long exposures in landscape or architectural photography. The ND 0.9, ND 1.2, ND 1.8 and ND 3.0 filters included in the set reduce exposure by 3, 4, 6 and 10 stops, respectively. The filters are made of optical glass that provides clarity and color fidelity. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface is coated with 10 layers of anti-reflective coating that better protects the filter substrate and helps it stay clean for a longer period of time. The nano-coating of these neutral density filters provides an additional layer that creates an improved beading effect when their surfaces come into contact with water or oil, allowing for more efficient cleaning. A plastic case is included for storage and transportation. This set is suitable for the following lenses: Sony FE 12-24 mm F4.0 G (SEL1224G) Included in the package is the following:1 x Rear lens filter filter ND 0.9 1 x rear lens filter ND 1.2 filter 1 x rear lens filter ND 1.8 filter 1 x rear lens filter ND 3.0 filter 1 x adapter suitable for Sony FE 12-24 mm F4.0 GTypical question related to this product: Can multiple filters be used at the same time? Haida Rear Lens Soft GND0.9 Filter
Haida Rear Lens Soft GND 0.9 for Nikon Z and Leica L
You’re photographing a landscape with a fast ultra-wide-angle lens, and the sky is three f-stops brighter than the foreground. A graduated filter solves this problem, but these particular lenses have a domed front element without a thread. That leaves you with large filter holder systems that barely fit in your bag. This filter takes a different approach and attaches to the back of the lens. Soft gray gradient with 3 f-stops, density 0.9 Mounts behind the lens; no holder in front of the front element No vignetting, unlike that caused by front-mounted filters The gradient sits securely; you can compose your shot around it For ultra-wide-angle lenses with Nikon Z or Leica L mount Requires a compatible adapter, not included The filter sits at the rear, not the front No holder in front of the front element Ultra-wide-angle lenses with a curved front element do not accept screw-in filters. The alternative is a filter holder system that attaches to the front and is correspondingly large. Here, the filter sits at the rear of the lens, leaving the bayonet mount free on the outside, and you don’t need any extra space in your bag. No vignetting Filters mounted in front of the lens quickly intrude into the image at extreme focal lengths and darken the corners. Because the filter is positioned behind the optics here, this problem doesn’t arise at all—not even at 14 millimeters. Three f-stops of smooth transition Density 0.9 corresponds to three f-stops. “Soft” means that the transition from dark to clear is gradual rather than occurring along a sharp edge. For landscapes with trees, mountains, or buildings on the horizon, this is the option that won’t show up as a line in the image. Here’s what it looks like in everyday use Sunset over a dark landscape The sky is blown out, the foreground is underexposed, and you can’t capture both in a single shot. With a three-stop gradient, you can bring the sky back without sacrificing the ground. Mountains against a bright sky The soft transition blends over an irregular mountain ridge without revealing where it begins. A hard gradient would create a visible edge cutting across the peaks here. Architecture from below When you shoot upward with a wide-angle lens, you almost always end up with a bright sky above a dark facade. The same gradient brings both areas into a range that the sensor can capture. What You Should Know Before You Order The gradient cannot be moved Unlike with a front-mounted filter, the transition here is fixed in one place. The filters are made of optical glass, which provides clarity and color fidelity. This set is suitable for the following lens: Nikon Nikkor Z 14-24 mm f/2.8 S  LensScope of delivery 1 x Rear lens filter filter ND 0.9 1 x rear lens filter ND 1.2 filter 1 x rear lens filter ND 1.8 filter 1 x rear lens filter ND 3.0 filter 1 x adapter suitable for Nikkor Z 14-24 mm f/2.8 S

ND Filter plug-in filter ND 3.0 100 mm Haida
ND Filter plug-in filter ND 3.0 100 mm Haida
ND Filter plug-in filter ND 3.0 100 mm Haida   The rectangular Haida Gray Filter ND3.0 provides shutter speed extension during exposure in a shot by reducing the amount of incoming light on the sensor. The Neutral Density Filter 3.0 filter is a stronger gray filter - which is also called a Big Stopper - and is particularly suitable for long exposures of water in sunlight or for architectural photographers. A latitude of 10 stops makes the surface look smooth and flowing when taking long exposures of water. Architectural photographers use the ND filter for extended long exposures that make moving people, animals or cars in front of buildings, landmarks or in busy squares disappear from the picture. The ND3.0 gray filter is especially suitable for:Perfect for long exposures of water such as rivers, lakes, sea, streams, etc.Architectural photographers often use long time exposure to photograph places deserted, for example. With an ND3.0, you can achieve the following shutter speeds: At 1/2000sec, the shutter speed increases to 1/2sec.At 1/500sec, the shutter speed increases to 2sec.At 1/125sec, the shutter speed increases to 8sec. Multi-coated optical glass reduces reflectionsThe Haida gray filter is made of double-sided ground and polished glass, which stands for durability and highest optical quality. Which filter system is right for your lenses?

Slip-on filters aren’t screwed on; instead, they’re slid into a holder. This offers three advantages: You can use multiple filters at the same time, you can adjust a graduated filter to align with the horizon, and you only need one filter for all your lenses.

100 mm or 150 mm?

The number indicates the width of the filter and is determined by your largest lens, not by personal preference.

100 mm is the common standard and covers virtually all standard wide-angle and zoom lenses up to about an 82 mm filter thread. Unless there’s a specific reason not to, this is the right choice: the system is lighter, more affordable, and offers the widest selection.

You’ll need a 150 mm for super-wide-angle lenses with a curved front element and a built-in lens hood, such as a Sigma 14 mm or a Nikon 14–24 mm. With these lenses, a 100 mm holder would appear in the frame. The system is correspondingly large, heavy, and expensive, but there’s no alternative for these lenses.

For slip-on filters, the density is specified as ND0.9 (3 stops), ND1.8 (6 stops), and ND3.0 (10 stops). Sets with multiple densities cover the entire range.

Rear-Mount Filters: The Solution for Super-Wide-Angle Lenses

Some lenses simply have no room for a filter at the front because the front element is curved and the aperture ring is fixed. The solution is the rear-mount filter: a thin holder is inserted into the rear of the bayonet mount, between the lens and the camera, and holds a small filter in place.

The advantage is obvious: no 150-mm system that weighs a kilo and costs more than the lens itself. A holder and a few small filters replace the entire setup. However, the holders are lens-specific; they’re available for the Sony 14 mm GM, Sony FE 12–24 mm, Nikon Z 14–24 mm, Sigma 14 mm Art, and Tamron SP 15–30 mm. Check before purchasing to see if your lens is included. In addition to ND filters, there are also Clear Night filters to combat city light pollution and Mist Black filters for the soft rendering of highlights.

Video filters for the matte box

In film, the same principle applies, just in a different format. The standard is 4×5.65 inches, which fits into any standard matte box. Haida’s V-Pro series offers ND filters in this format, designed to maintain consistent color across all densities so that switching filters during a shoot doesn’t cause a sudden change in the image.

When You Don’t Need a System

If you just want to screw on an ND filter and shoot long exposures, a system is overkill. A screw-in ND filter with a few step-up rings costs a fraction of the price and fits in your jacket pocket. The filter holder is worth it as soon as you start using graduated filters, combine multiple filters, or use lenses without a front thread.
