The adjustable carbon top flag effectively blocks side light and adds barely any weight to the rig. Your shots stay high in contrast without weighing the camera down.

4x5.65 filters and flexible mounting

The matte box takes common 4x5.65 filters. Via the four included adapter rings (67/72/77/82 mm) you mount it on a wide range of lenses.

How this works in practice

Wide angle without intruding edges

The box is designed for wide-angle lenses and shows only very low vignetting. Ideal for video rigs where clean image edges and low weight matter.

What you should know before you order

Supplied without a filter

The HD4930 includes the matte box and four adapter rings, but no filter. If you want an ND filter included, the HD4931 variant (with a 3-stop ND) is the right choice.

Check compatibility

Designed for many mirrorless and select DSLR models. Before buying, check that your lens diameter is covered by one of the four rings (67/72/77/82 mm).
