Peak Design Leash ash
The Leash Ash from Peak Design is an optimised camera strap for small cameras. The essentials: Flatter buckles, slightly tapered discs on the matching anchor loops, which make it easier to engage, and thin buckles for small straps. The new and extremely flat anchor mount plate for attaching the Leash Black to the tripod thread of the camera as well as improved material properties, aluminium bar buckles and Hypalon finger loops for adjusting the optimum strap length round off the innovations.
Shoulder strap, neck strap or sling strap – extremely versatile
The Leash Black is a real all-rounder thanks to its various functions. It can be used as a shoulder harness, neck harness or sling harness. The Leash Black as a sling strap, i.e. worn diagonally around the upper body with the camera hanging at the side of the body, offers the greatest wearing and operating comfort. The camera is in your hand in a flash and snapshots are safely in the box.
For smaller camera types such as SLR or DSLM cameras
The Leash Black is ideal for smaller camera types such as entry-level DSLRs, mirrorless system cameras or compact cameras.
Perfectly thought-out and secure - thanks to the anchor loop and plug-in fastener
Like all other Peak Design straps, the Cuff-Black also has a clever fastening system consisting of a plug-in fastener on the wrist strap and a sturdy anchor loop for attaching to the camera. Both components can be easily separated from each other despite their extremely secure connection. This makes it quick and easy to attach and detach from the camera. The hand strap can either be attached to a belt or directly to the camera tripod thread using an adapter.
Easier engagement of the anchor loops thanks to thin laces and bevelled discs
The plug-in fastener of the Cuff-Black alone is a quarter flatter than the previous Cuff. The bevelled discs on the anchor loops make it easier to engage the plug-in fastener. The thin but very sturdy loops are easier to attach to cameras with narrow flat or small round lenses, making the use of split rings superfluous. These new anchor loops fit into the plug-in fasteners of both older products and the 2017 Leash camera strap.

Extremely flat camera plate for attachment to the tripod thread of a camera
With the small and very flat anchor mount plate, the Leash Black can be attached to the tripod thread of your camera. Compared to interchangeable plates, this plate does not add much bulk. The anchor loops are attached to the aluminium plate using two eyelets.
Space-saving storage
Since the Leash Black is flat and narrow, it can be rolled up and stowed in a jacket pocket if required. The leash is narrow and flat.

The aluminium bar buckles and Hypalon loops of the Leash Black make it quick and easy to adjust the optimum harness length.
Ultra-smooth and torsion-resistant nylon fabric ensures better durability thanks to a stronger weave
The material and design of the cuff loop have been optimised – a new, tightly woven nylon fabric is extremely durable. The smooth surface provides a comfortable feel and glides gently along clothing when used as a sling strap. The improved material does not twist as quickly. The load points have been reinforced and the buckle is made from a mix of metal and plastic. The aluminium stopper and the Hypalon application on the outside of the loop round off the high-quality finish.

Praktisch
Obwohl etwas schmall, schneidet der Gurt nicht ein. Durch die Masse benötigt der Gurt auch kaum Platz, ist kaum im Weg. Die Länge ist auch sehr gut, ich kann die Kamera auch über eine dicke Jacke tragen.

Not sure if I like it or not
Positives - Very easy to attach and detach from the camera Confortable Negative - The strap doesn't real slide very well when trying to make it longer and shorter. I bought it specifically so that I could tighten it up one handed like they do in the promotional videos but it just doesn't work very well....

Peak Desing ist einfach TOP!!!
ich hab nun die Handschlaufe und nun den Leash! Jetzt kann ich hin und her wechseln, ohne gefummle und oder gar nicht wenn man die Orig. Schlaufe an der Kamera hat! Peak Design ist zwar nicht günstig, aber die Produkte TOP! ...und der Service von Fotochäschtli ist natürlich auch TOP! bin sehr zufrieden...

Scher ein gutes Produkt - aber...
PeakDesign macht gute Sachen, zweifellos. Für die Art wie ich mit meinen Kameras arbeite kann ich die Gurte aber nicht gebrauchen. Den Peak Design Leash wollte ich für meine X-Pro2. Die Löcher der Kameraösen sind aber zu klein um die Anker durchzuziehen. Im Internet sind dazu Murkslösungen zu finden. Diese kommen für mich aber nicht in Frage. Der Leash ist zudem nicht geeignet um ihn beim Fotografieren ums Handgelenk zu wickeln. Für mich ist es ein Fehlkauf. Ich bliebe vorläufig beim Originalgurt.

Wechselsystem
Jetzt habe ich eine Wechsellösung für meine beiden Kameras. Mal brauche ich den Gurt und mal die Handschlaufe.
