The Striplight Godox 40 x 180 cm softbox enables versatile and flexible lighting design for fashion, portrait and fashion shots. Since it is easy to set up and easy to transport, it is ideal for outdoor shoots in addition to studio use. The included diffusers and grid provide variable soft light with smooth shadow transitions. From high-contrast to directional Soft, high-contrast light with harder shadows comes from the silver inside of the light shaper. Soft, diffused light comes from the two translucent diffusers that are easy to mount on the Striplight.The inner diffuser additionally reduces the creation of a brighter light area in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates an enlarged light area and fans out the light further. Both diffusers also minimize the creation of annoying reflections on shiny surfaces - a fact that is of great benefit in portrait and product photography. The included black grid reduces the stray light component, directs the light more towards the center and makes the outer areas darker. Without changing the soft light character, the softbox with attached honeycomb illuminates the subject in a more precise and controlled way. SMDV gets around all these problems with a lightweight (660 grams), foldable design that opens and closes in seconds.
