The SmallRig L-bracket was developed to allow photographers to switch between horizontal and vertical shots quickly and easily. This innovative mounting plate has been specially developed for the Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7S III and allows convenient access to the LCD flip screen.

Versatility thanks to Arca-Swiss side plate

The Arca-Swiss side plate of this L-mount allows you to switch between horizontal and vertical shots at the touch of a button. In the horizontal position, the side plate can be quickly folded down and stowed away compactly. In the vertical position, the base plate is folded out to facilitate access to the cables.

Safety and adaptability

The L-bracket is firmly attached to the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw and fixing pins on the underside. Padding protects the camera from scratches and twisting. A hinged arm on the battery compartment cover adapts to the curvature of the camera, improves grip and enables smooth operation.

Extended possibilities with accessories

The base plate has several 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ideal for attaching accessories such as monitors, microphones and other video production accessories. An additional hole for a wrist strap and a QD connector allow for quick attachment of shoulder and wrist straps. A slotted screwdriver is included to easily remove or lengthen the L-band.

Instructions for use

1) For vertical mounting, the base plate can be extended to allow the cable to be installed. Please note that the HDMI interface can be used with standard cables, while right-angled data cables are required for the USB-C and multi-interface.

2. the maximum load capacity of the vertical mount is an impressive 5kg, making this mounting plate extremely robust and reliable.
