Change the look and feel of these amazing backdrops through simple lighting techniques. High-key lighting results in the pattern being very visible and vibrant in your images. Low-key lighting mutes the background for a softer "barely there" effect. Easily vignette your background with a background light (perfect for glamour shots with dramatic results). No need to worry about removing seams in post-production as all of Westcott's backdrops are seamless to ensure professional results.

We have carefully chosen our material to reflect a wrinkle resistant fabric. Simply hang your backdrop using the included pole pocket and the weight of the fabric will pull most unwanted wrinkles out right away. If heavy wrinkles still exist, simply steam the backside of the background paying special attention to not over moisten or "overheat" the embossed velour. Many embossed fabrics naturally have a reflection due to the manufacturing process. At Westcott, we have developed a system to remove unwanted reflections from this process leaving the background with a matte finish. This matte finish ensures perfect results when lighting the backdrop. Reflections can cause difficulty in lighting the backdrop, loss of background detail and unwanted highlights.

Care Instructions:  Do not wash, bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. If necessary, gently spot clean fabric by hand. Velvet areas are fragile and should not be cleaned. Steam iron on reverse side only.
