Super practical and comfortable. With the Capture Clip V3 Clip camera clip, the camera can be carried on a rucksack strap, shoulder strap, trouser belt or waistband. This has the advantage that both hands are free and the camera does not dangle even when moving around a lot, but remains firmly in position. The Capture Pro Clip is the perfect companion for everyday life and especially for outdoor tours such as climbing or cycling. It is suitable for SLR cameras, compact cameras and mirrorless system cameras.

Easy grip for spontaneous snapshots

The Capture Clip V3 Clip is easy to handle. Once the clip has been positioned on the belt or strap, all you have to do is snap the camera plate attached under the camera into the multi-secured holder and you're done. For spontaneous snapshots, the camera can simply be removed from the Capture Clip V3 clip and then reattached to the clip.

The advantages of the ARCAplate, DUALplate and MICROplate camera plate attachments are all combined in the PROplate. Thanks to the all-round Arca profile in the basic configuration, this camera plate can always be inserted into the clip offset by 90 degrees in all four directions. This means that the camera lens can always be inserted facing downwards. The great thing about this is that the Capture-Clip camera plate does not need to be replaced with a corresponding interchangeable plate. Thanks to its compatibility with the quick-release coupling, the camera can be attached directly to a tripod from the Capture Clip.
However, thanks to its width of 5.2 cm, the PROplate has a stable and suitable support surface for large SLR cameras.

The anchor loops from the Peak Design System can be attached to four eyelets in the corners of the PROplate. This enables quick and flexible movement between the Capture Clip V3 Clip, slides such as the Clutch and Cuff hand loops and the Slide and Leash straps.

For use as a tripod head with quick-release coupling - tripod thread on the back

To ensure that the Capture Clip V3 Clip can be attached to almost any camera tripod or panhead, there is a removable ¼-inch adapter on the 3/8-inch internal thread on the back. This also allows it to be used as a quick-release coupling for a ball head.

Protects against falling out or theft - multiple protection on the camera plate holder

To prevent the camera from being stolen or falling out of the Capture Clip V3 Clip, the camera plate can be secured in multiple ways. The grid lock prevents the camera from slipping out of the holder; the camera can only be removed by pressing and holding the red release button. The release button itself can be locked by turning the upper part 90 degrees, and the camera plate can also be clamped in the holder with a locking screw.

Fits belts and straps with a thickness of up to 1.3 cm and a width of up to 7.6 cm

The Capture Clip V3 clip can be attached to all belts and straps with a maximum thickness of 1.3 cm and a width of 7.6 cm. The Capture Clip V3 Clip is easy to attach: the unscrewed clip is unfolded, then attached to the belt or strap and finally screwed back on using the two clamping screws.

Note

The Capture Clip v3 from 2017 can accommodate all Peak Design camera plates released up to that point. However, the new flatter standard plate plates cannot be used for older Capture Clip models. Although these plates can be inserted, the distance between the top of the plate and the top of the clip would be too small to insert the plate into the clip with a camera mounted on it.

It can be used to attach a camera to a Capture Clip. The plate has different clamping profiles. The Dual Plate therefore also functions as a clamping plate for quick-release couplings that are either Arca-Swiss or Manfrotto RC2 compatible. This offers the advantage that you don't have to change the camera plate every time you remove your camera from the capture clip to attach it to a ball head.
