We are Fotichaestli – and we live and breathe photography.
In August 2009, our first online store went live – small at the time, but with a clear vision: to provide photographers in Switzerland with the best equipment that we ourselves would recommend with a clear conscience. Today, over 15 years later, we are proud to be Switzerland’s largest online shop for photography and studio equipment—with over 3,500 items shipped directly from our warehouse in Langnau am Albis.

We’ve always been on the hunt for the best—even when no one else knew about it yet. That’s why we were the first in Switzerland to add products from Godox, Haida, SMDV, and Patona to our lineup. Brands that are now indispensable in the world of photography. We’re still proud today that we discovered them early on and recommended them to our customers.

This is especially important to us: We’ve personally held and tested every product you find in our shop. If an item doesn’t meet our own standards, it simply doesn’t make it into our selection—no matter how affordable or trendy it might be. Our owner, Markus Niederbacher, regularly shares his knowledge in workshops—for example, at our popular sensor cleaning evenings right here in our Langnau store. And if you’d like, you can also visit us in person—we’re always happy to welcome visitors to our store at Spinnereistrasse 12a in Langnau am Albis.

We know: When you’re waiting for equipment, you’re waiting for your next photos. That’s why our policy is: orders and payments received by 2:00 PM – shipped the same day. Directly from our own warehouse, directly to you – no detours. You can pay conveniently by credit card, PayPal, TWINT, E-Finance, or bank transfer. For public institutions such as schools, colleges, and universities, we also offer the option to order on account.
