What’s included
Light, 15° - and 36° reflectors, AK-B02 handle with cable, AC adapter, lamp cap with holder, and a carrying case. In the studio, you can plug it into the AC adapter; on location, use the battery—no modifications required.
V-Mount instead of proprietary
The AK-B02 accepts standard V-Mount batteries, not a Godox-proprietary format. If you’re from the video world, you’ve probably had these for a while and charge them with the same charger as the rest.

Shooting on location
No cables dragging across the floor, no hunting for the nearest outlet. You clip the battery to the handle and place the light where it belongs, instead of where there’s power.
Interview in mixed lighting
2800 to 6500K continuously adjustable: You adapt to the light that’s already there instead of fighting it. No color cast that you’ll have to correct in Lightroom later. Dimming ranges from 0 to 100 percent.
Portrait Against the Sun
With the 15° reflector, you get 34,300 lux at one meter—enough for a face against daylight. For the entire scene, attach the 36° reflector to spread the light more widely.
What You Should Know Before Ordering
The V-Mount battery is not included
The AK-B02 is the mount; you’ll need to provide your own battery. If you don’t have one yet, add it to your order, or get the BG02 handle with a built-in 95-Wh battery—it’s ready to use right away.
Do you need a tripod?
Kit2 doesn’t include one, nor does it include the AD-E2 umbrella tilt head. Both are included in the Kit1, which, however, does not come with a handle. In short: Kit2 for the battery, Kit1 for the tripod and umbrellas.
Bi-Color or RGB?
If you want color effects, check out the ML100R, which ranges from 1,800 to 10,000K and offers full RGB. That comes at the cost of color accuracy: CRI 95 instead of the 97 here. For interviews and portraits, Bi-Color is the cleaner choice.
