Full color spectrum instead of color gels

1,800 to 10,000K plus RGB

The white range extends significantly further than with a bi-color light, from as low as candlelight at 1,800K to as high as 10,000K. Add to that the full color spectrum via HSI: You simply turn the color wheel instead of cutting out a color filter.

14 lighting effects for scenes

Fire, lightning, police lights, and eleven other effects are built into the light. What you’d normally create in post-production or simulate with hand movements happens here at the touch of a button and looks the same in every take.

Controlled via app

You can adjust color, brightness, HSI, and effects via Bluetooth using the Godox Light app, from up to 30 meters away. Four dimming curves—ranging from linear to logarithmic—give you smooth transitions that don’t look stepped in the video.

What you should know before ordering

Are you concerned about skin tones?

Then go with the ML100Bi. It doesn’t support RGB, but it has a CRI of 97 and a TLCI of 98 instead of the 95 here. For interviews, portraits, and anything where skin tones need to look right without correction, this is the cleaner option. The ML100R really shines when color is a priority.

Do you need battery power?

The light comes standard with a power adapter. For shoots without a power outlet, there are two options: The BG02 handle has a built-in 95-Wh battery and is ready to use right away. The AK-B02 accepts V-Mount batteries that you provide yourself.

Do you want to use light modifiers?

You can mount umbrellas using the included AD-E2 umbrella head. Godox softboxes, such as the ML-S1A, attach directly to the Godox mount.
