A professional lapel microphone with broadcastable sound quality, perfectly matched to the Wireless GO compact radio link. An ideal accessory for settings where the Wireless GO transmitter module would be too prominent in the picture. In this case, simply connect the Lavalier GO to the microphone input of the Wireless GO module and use it as a belt or pocket transmitter.Of course, the Lavalier GO can also be used with many other devices that have a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input and provide the necessary supply current (approx. 3 volts). Typical examples are notebooks, DSLR cameras and mobile recorders. To achieve optimal recording results, the Lavalier GO should be attached to the lapel, collar or clothing at chest height with its crocodile clip. It often makes sense to point the capsule downwards, which can reduce annoying breathing sounds and "hissing" sibilants. Since the Lavalier GO has a spherical capsule, i.e. it is equally sensitive everywhere, there is hardly any difference in sound quality between the capsule pointing upwards and downwards. The special connection cable is Kevlar® reinforced and with 1.20 m also sufficiently long. The TRS mini jack plug has gold-plated contacts. You can also use the Lavalier GO on a smartphone by purchasing the optional RØDE adapter "SC4", which adapts the Lavalier GO's 3-pin TRS plug to the smartphone's 4-pin headset jack. The Lavalier GO comes with a foam windscreen, crocodile clip and a small carrying bag.Features and benefits:Condenser lavalier microphoneperfectly tuned to Wireless GOalso suitable for other devices with 3.5 mm microphone inputcompatible e.g. with notebooks, DSLR cameras, mobile recordersMiniature condenser capsule with omnidirectional characteristicbroadcastable sound qualityKevlar® reinforced connection cable3.5 mm TRS jack plug with gold-plated contactsincl. foam windscreen, crocodile clip and transport bag
The smartLav+ is a broadcast-grade wearable microphone designed for use in a wide range of film, television and broadcast scenarios, or wherever broadcast quality audio is required in a discreet, portable format without the complication and expense of additional wireless equipment. With the smartLav+ the user simply mounts the microphone on the talent, connects it to a smartphone or tablet headset jack and records via the RØDE Rec app for iOS, or any other audio app of their choice.By employing a professional quality omni-directional condenser capsule the smartLav+ picks up sound equally from all around the microphone, allowing for versatility when mounting and ensuring a high degree of user-friendly operation.A foam pop shield is supplied to minimise wind noise and vocal plosives (hard ‘b’, ‘t’ and ‘p’ sounds), as well as a durable mounting clip with in-built cable management. Its Kevlar® reinforced cable ensures that you never stretch or snap your microphone under normal usage conditions. The smartLav+ is compatible with any audio app that accepts input from the headset connection, however it has been designed to pair perfectly with RØDE’s RØDE Rec app for Apple iOS devices. RØDE Rec turns the user’s iOS device into a fully-featured field recorder, with a wide range of equalisation presets to suit various recording situations, in addition to professional editing functions and the ability to publish to SoundCloud and Dropbox direct from the app.
