The SmallRig Flash Foot Adapter for Sony A7III A7R III BUC2662 has two "cold" flash shoes for mounting small devices such as a microphone or LED light, one on the top and the other on the left shoulder of the camera.
The plate is mounted into the hot shoe and the left strap hole of your camera and fixed with a M2.5 screw.
It is also supplied with soft rubber pads on the bottom side to prevent scratching.
The plate is designed to be flat and can remain on the camera for storage at all times.
