Camera color correction for photo and video

The Datacolor SpyderCHECKR 24® is a combination of colour reference and grey card for use in photo and film photography. The SpyderCHECKR® 24 offers the accuracy of large, spectrally sophisticated and pigmented patches in a thin, handy format at an affordable price. The SpyderCHECKR 24 grey card is used for white balance and exposure correction directly in the camera and in post-processing. While the color patches enable automatic color correction of images directly in Adobe® Photoshop® Camera Raw, Adobe® Lightroom®, Hasselblad® Phocus and Blackmagic® DaVinci Resolve.

The SpyderCHECKR 24's three main applications are

Problem: The color recorded by the camera may differ from the color at the recording location. Getting accurate, consistent colors from the subject to the captured colors can therefore be difficult and time consuming.

Solution: The SpyderCHECKR 24 and its software create extremely accurate HSL color corrections for photo and video cameras. This reduces color errors in all their shots, which is especially important for corporate and team color reproduction.

Problem: The color can vary from camera to camera and from manufacturer to manufacturer. Getting accurate, consistent colors from multiple cameras for a single project can be particularly difficult and time-consuming.

Solution: The SpyderCHECKR 24 has the same user-friendly software solution as the original SpyderCHECKR and produces soft, highly accurate HSL color corrections for photo and video cameras. By calibrating each of your cameras with the SpyderCHECKR 24, you can match the colors of your cameras to improve the consistency and printability of your shots.

Problem: Color temperature and exposure can vary from shot to shot and scene to scene. Providing accurate, consistent data on a scene for all your shots can be difficult and time-consuming.

Solution: SpyderCHECKR 24 displays an easy-to-use gray board on one side that provides data on color temperature and scene light intensity. These can be used to adjust camera settings as well as to make corrections during post-production.
