The octagonal Godox Octagonal Umbrella Softbox with its soft and natural light is the ideal main light for fashion, portrait and fashion shots. It's super easy to set up in just a few seconds. Just stretch it out like an umbrella, mount it to the light source - done!
Due to the quick readiness for use and the robust and resilient umbrella construction, the light shaper is the optimal partner for flexible illumination in the studio or on location. The interaction of the standard diffusers and the separately available honeycomb makes the Godox GUE Softbox an extremely flexible tool for optimal subject illumination.

From high-contrast to directional
Soft, high-contrast light with harder shadows comes from the silver inside of the light shaper. Soft, diffused light is available with the two translucent diffusers, which are easy to mount on the softbox.
The inner diffuser additionally reduces the creation of a brighter light area in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates an enlarged light area and fans out the light further. Both diffusers additionally minimize the creation of annoying reflections on shiny surfaces - a fact that is of great benefit in portrait and product photography.

The included black honeycomb reduces the stray light component, directs the light more towards the center and makes the outer areas darker. Without changing the soft light character, the softbox with attached honeycomb illuminates the subject in a more precise and controlled way.

Versatile use
Via the Bowens S-type bayonet, the softbox fits many studio flash units, rechargeable studio flashes and LED permanent lights with the appropriate connection. For perfect alignment of the light shaper, the speed ring can be rotated 360 degrees.
When closed, the light shaper is very slim and takes up very little space in the photo luggage. It is therefore perfect for mobile use and can be conveniently taken along to all shootings. For use outside the studio or for space-saving storage, the softbox and accessories fit conveniently into the carrying bag included in the scope of delivery.
