The dark green GT5 tripod from the Pilot series with the CT04 fluid head from Sirui offers features for outdoor photographers or nature observers who need greater versatility from their equipment and the ability to use creative angles in any terrain. Its compact design makes it easy to transport, as it can be folded to 20.2‘ and still reach a maximum height of 58.4’. The aluminium construction supports up to 6.6 lb.

Tripod legs

The four-section legs can be adjusted independently of each other to the desired length using carbon fibre twist locks. The semi-automatic folding locks offer three angles for each leg in case you are standing on uneven ground. Metal spikes can be extended by simply turning the rubber feet, providing additional stability when needed.

Centre column Video Stavives

The triangular shape of the centre column makes the tripod even more compact and portable when folded. The column can also be reversed to allow low or high angle shots. A ballast hook is provided for added stability, and the column locking knob can be rotated 360° to ensure a secure fit. An additional short centre column is included to expand access to low-angle or long-leg shots.

Video tripod base

The base features an adaptive threaded screw that can be switched between 3/8‘-16 and ¼’-20 by simply pressing and turning, making it easier to mount the heads or cameras of your choice and faster to switch between them. An integrated ¼‘-20 and 3/8’-16 accessory connection allows the connection of a wide range of additional devices.

Fluid head on a video tripod

The fluid head has a freely adjustable handle, index markings at the base and a spirit level for precise control and adjustment. It can be rotated 360° and has a tilt range of +90° to -60°. A separate tilt lock, plate movement lock, panoramic base lock, safety lock and handle lock ensure that your equipment stays in place to improve your shots and ensure safety. The quick-release plate comes with ¼‘-20 and 3/8’-16 screws, a safety pin and rubber buffers for added security.
