Works well but not with all speedrings and modifiers
I bought the adapter so I could use my Rotalux softboxes on my Aputure 300D II. It does the job well, though the spread of light in the modifiers is not as good as it would be with a native speedring. The adapter is quite long/deep and thus the light isn't spread perfectly in the whole softbox. But more importantly, the speedring doesn't seem to work with the latest Elinchrom speedring that were released end of 2021/early 2022 (they have color dots on them). The older model work fine – though it's a bit hard to take them off the softbox. So be careful when buying this adapter that you do indeed have the older Elinchrom Speedrings, otherwise I'll be better of buying Elinchrom Speedrings in Bowens mount instead.

Verwendung mit Elinchrom Softboxen
Leider muss ich mich dem Arthur Häberli anschliessen. Wollte gerade meine Softboxen probieren, doch leider auch mit viel Geduld, habe ich es nicht geschafft diese zu verwenden. Werde wohl den Adapter mechanisch bearbeiten müssen, damit der Stoff der SB zwischen die beiden Flansche passt. Leider bleibt danach wohl nicht viel Stablität im Adapter.

Funktiuoniert
Die Pro Adapter Bowens zu Elinchrom funktionieren einwandfrei für metallene Elinchrom Lichtformer. Bei Lichtformern mit Speedring (Stoff-Softboxen) haben wir es nicht hingekriegt. Wenn es denn Elinchrom Lichtformer sein müssen gibt es von Elinchrom Speedringe für Bowens S Anschlüsse.

Klappt mit dem Godox AD600Pro gut
Macht einen rechten Eindruck und funktioniert gut mit dem Godox AD600Pro - dass die Elinchome Lichtformer darauf genutzt werden können. Dürfte etwas schmaler sein - aber aufgrund der tiefen bauform des Goidox Leuchtkörpers ist die Abstrahlung auch mit diesem Adapter noch OK. Der Elinchrometeil ist rein Kunststoff und wird nicht ewig halten. Toll aber dass fotichaeschtli dass so alles hat. Klare Empfehlung!

leider gleiche Beobachtung
Ich muss mich meinem Vorschreiber anschliessen, Rotalux (Deep Octa klein) und aber auch Beautydish von Elinchrom passen nur mit sehr viel Kraft, der Adapter wirkt dann mehr als "Klemme mit Bowensanschluss", er lässt sich kaum oder gar nicht in den Bajonettverschluss einrasten. Schade.
