The eyecup blocks side light and stray light, giving you a clear view through the viewfinder. The viewfinder image is higher in contrast and focusing is easier.
The eyecup comes with a self-locking clamp so it stays securely on the camera. The inner ring is made of plastic.

Sehr gut an der Z7 II, ohne Abstriche
passt bestens, hilft gut gegen seitliches Streulicht, der Monitor kann ohne Problem ausgeschwenkt und auch wieder eingeschwenkt werden, beim Einschwenken einfach zuerst oben einklappen.

Sehr gut mit kleinen Abstrichen an der Z7 II
Sehr gutes Produkt, einzig die Passform zusammen mit dem etwas steifen Material verunmöglicht, dass man den Monitor wie bisher direkt rausziehen kann, er steht an. Aber hey, dafür hat man einen guten Schutz vor Seitenlicht :)

Viel besser als Original
Diese Augenmuschel ist viel besser als das Original von Nikon, lässt sich frei drehen und schützt gegen Seitenlicht- Leider kann man sie einfach verlieren...
