A bare flash head casts harsh light with sharp shadows, and in a small room, you can see this immediately on the wall behind the subject. A spherical diffuser transforms the directed beam into a light source that radiates in all directions. The ML-CD15 has a diameter of 15 cm, folds up for transport, and comes with three adapters so it can be mounted on a wide variety of Godox heads.

  • 15-cm-diameter spherical diffuser for soft light in all directions
  • Three adapters included for round, square, and Godox bayonet heads
  • Fits on hot-shoe flashes, compact flashes, and continuous lights
  • Foldable, takes up little space in your camera bag
  • Omnidirectional light distribution, ideal for small spaces and tabletop scenes

Three adapters instead of three diffusers

One diffuser for your entire Godox setup

Most photographers don’t just have one Godox device—they have a hot-shoe flash, a compact flash, and perhaps a continuous light. Otherwise, each would need its own diffuser. The three included adapters cover the most common Godox mounts, so the same diffuser fits everywhere.

All-around instead of forward

Unlike a softbox, which focuses the light forward, the sphere emits light in all directions. The ceiling and walls become additional light sources, and the result looks like ambient light rather than a flash. That’s exactly why it works better in small rooms than a small softbox.

Here’s what it looks like in everyday life

Cocktail hour in a cramped restaurant

The room is small, the ceiling is white, and you want to capture your guests without anyone casting a harsh shadow on the wall. With the ball attached to the flash, the entire room is filled with soft light, and you can move freely without constantly having to rethink the flash direction.

Product shots on the table

For small objects, you need light that wraps around the subject instead of coming only from the front. The 15 cm ball sits close to the object and illuminates it from multiple sides at once, which significantly reduces harsh edges and distracting reflections.

What You Should Know Before You Order

Check Your Flash Head First

The three adapters cover round flash heads, rectangular clip-on flash heads, and the Godox mount used on continuous light units and larger compact flashes. This is a broad range, but not every device on the market is included, and they usually don’t fit third-party brands. Tell us which device you have, and we’ll let you know before you order whether it’s a good fit.

Omnidirectional light requires more power

Because the sphere emits light in all directions, less light reaches the subject than with a softbox or reflector. At close range indoors, this isn’t an issue. If you want to work from several meters away or flash against the sun outdoors, a reflector is the better choice.

Godox Kugeldiffusor ML-CD15

Godox ML100R LED Light – 110W RGB 14 Effects Full Colour
Blue backlighting for the music video, a sunset at 10 p.m. in the studio, the flicker of a police light for one scene. With a bi-color light, you can create these effects using color gels—which you’ll need to find first, or add later in post-production. The Godox ML100R generates the color directly in the lamp, via the app, while you’re standing right in front of it. Full RGB and 1,800 to 10,000K, color without gels 14 lighting effects ranging from fire to lightning to police lights 110W output, CRI and TLCI 95 Weighs only 465g, comes with a carrying case and AD-E2 umbrella head Bluetooth control via the Godox Light app up to 30 meters Four dimming curves for smooth transitions in video Full color spectrum instead of color gels 1,800 to 10,000K plus RGB The white range extends significantly further than with a bi-color light, from as low as candlelight at 1,800K to as high as 10,000K. Add to that the full color spectrum via HSI: You simply turn the color wheel instead of cutting out a color filter. 14 lighting effects for scenes Fire, lightning, police lights, and eleven other effects are built into the light. What you’d normally create in post-production or simulate with hand movements happens here at the touch of a button and looks the same in every take. Controlled via app You can adjust color, brightness, HSI, and effects via Bluetooth using the Godox Light app, from up to 30 meters away. Four dimming curves—ranging from linear to logarithmic—give you smooth transitions that don’t look stepped in the video. Here’s what it looks like in everyday use Music video with color ambiance Magenta from behind, cyan from the side—and you can switch between both from your phone between takes. No changing gels, no waiting for the light to cool down, no debate over the right shade. Warm light down to 1800K Candlelight, a fireplace, the last minutes before sunset: At 1800K, you’re in a place a bi-color light with 2800K can’t even come close to reaching. Shooting on the go 465 grams, 12.2 x 4.6 x 11 centimeters, bag included. You can take this light with you, even if you usually just pack your camera and a lens. What you should know before ordering Are you concerned about skin tones? Then go with the ML100Bi. It doesn’t support RGB, but it has a CRI of 97 and a TLCI of 98 instead of the 95 here. For interviews, portraits, and anything where skin tones need to look right without correction, this is the cleaner option. The ML100R really shines when color is a priority. Do you need battery power? The light comes standard with a power adapter. For shoots without a power outlet, there are two options: The BG02 handle has a built-in 95-Wh battery and is ready to use right away. The AK-B02 accepts V-Mount batteries that you provide yourself. Do you want to use light modifiers? You can mount umbrellas using the included AD-E2 umbrella head. Godox softboxes, such as the ML-S1A, attach directly to the Godox mount. Godox ML100Bi-Kit2 mobile LED kit: head, handle, both reflectors
Godox ML100Bi-Kit2 – 120W LED V-Mount Handle Mobile Ready
You’re shooting in locations where there’s no power outlet nearby, and your video gear already includes V-mount batteries in your case. The Godox ML100Bi Kit2 is designed for exactly this situation: the light, both reflectors, and the V-mount handle—all in one bag. Just attach the battery you’re already carrying with you. Includes the AK-B02 V-Mount handle—perfect for shooting without a power outlet Set includes 15° and 36° reflectors plus a carrying case 2800 to 6500K bi-color, adapts to any ambient light CRI 97 and TLCI 98, skin tones remain natural Light weighs only 487g, up to 34,300 lux with the 15° reflector Controlled via the Godox Light App from up to 30 meters away Built for on-location shoots without a power outlet What’s included Light, 15° - and 36° reflectors, AK-B02 handle with cable, AC adapter, lamp cap with holder, and a carrying case. In the studio, you can plug it into the AC adapter; on location, use the battery—no modifications required. V-Mount instead of proprietary The AK-B02 accepts standard V-Mount batteries, not a Godox-proprietary format. If you’re from the video world, you’ve probably had these for a while and charge them with the same charger as the rest. Here’s what it looks like in everyday use Shooting on location No cables dragging across the floor, no hunting for the nearest outlet. You clip the battery to the handle and place the light where it belongs, instead of where there’s power. Interview in mixed lighting 2800 to 6500K continuously adjustable: You adapt to the light that’s already there instead of fighting it. No color cast that you’ll have to correct in Lightroom later. Dimming ranges from 0 to 100 percent. Portrait Against the Sun With the 15° reflector, you get 34,300 lux at one meter—enough for a face against daylight. For the entire scene, attach the 36° reflector to spread the light more widely. What You Should Know Before Ordering The V-Mount battery is not included The AK-B02 is the mount; you’ll need to provide your own battery. If you don’t have one yet, add it to your order, or get the BG02 handle with a built-in 95-Wh battery—it’s ready to use right away. Do you need a tripod? Kit2 doesn’t include one, nor does it include the AD-E2 umbrella tilt head. Both are included in the Kit1, which, however, does not come with a handle. In short: Kit2 for the battery, Kit1 for the tripod and umbrellas. Bi-Color or RGB? If you want color effects, check out the ML100R, which ranges from 1,800 to 10,000K and offers full RGB. That comes at the cost of color accuracy: CRI 95 instead of the 97 here. For interviews and portraits, Bi-Color is the cleaner choice. Technical Details at a Glance Color Temperature: 2,800 to 6,500K Color Accuracy: CRI 97, TLCI 98 Brightness: 3,670 lux (1 m, 5,600 K), up to 34,300 lux with a 15° reflector Power consumption: 120 W Dimming: 0 to 100% Cooling: Fan Light weight: 487g Light dimensions: 12.19 x 11 x 4.6 cm Tripod thread: 1/4"-20 Battery connection: V-Mount via AK-B02, battery not included Package contents 1 x LED spot light 1 x 15° reflector 1 x 36° reflector 1 x Godox AK-B02 V-Mount Handle 1 x Cable for the handle 1 x AC adapter and cable 1 x Lamp cap with holder 1 x Carrying case

Godox ML100Bi Kit1 LED Continuous Light Bi-Color 120W
Godox ML100Bi-Kit1 – 120W LED Studio Kit Complete Setup
You have an interview at 5 p.m.; the room has neon lights on the ceiling and a window with evening sunlight streaming in. That’s exactly where the work usually begins: checking for color casts, improvising a light source, and borrowing a tripod from somewhere. With the Godox ML100Bi Kit1, you set up the tripod, adjust the color temperature to match the light already in the room, and you’re done in two minutes. Everything you need is right in the box. You don’t need to buy anything else What’s Included Light, 15° reflector, 36° reflector, tripod, AD-E2 umbrella tilt, AC adapter, and carrying case. This isn’t a basic kit with a list of accessories—it’s a set that’s ready to use the day it’s delivered. What you’d otherwise have to put together piece by piece If you buy just the light, you’ll have to order the second reflector, a tripod, and a bag later. Three orders, three separate shipments—and until then, the light sits on the kitchen table. All in One Bag After the shoot, everything goes back into the carrying case instead of getting scattered in the closet. For your next shoot, you just grab the bag and have the entire setup with you. Here’s What It Looks Like in Everyday Use Interview in mixed lighting 2800 to 6500K continuously adjustable: You adapt to the light that’s already there instead of fighting it. No color cast that you’ll have to correct in Lightroom later. Dimming ranges from 0 to 100 percent, so you can also go for a softer look. Portrait against the sun With the 15° reflector, you get 34,300 lux at a distance of one meter. That’s enough to cleanly isolate a face against daylight. For the entire scene, attach the 36° reflector to spread the light more widely. Shooting on the Go 487 grams, 12.19 x 11 x 4.6 centimeters. You can bring the light along even when you’re usually just packing a camera and a lens. It’s controlled via the Godox Light app from up to 30 meters away, so you don’t have to stand right next to the light. What You Should Know Before You Order Do You Need Battery Power? The light generally runs on a battery as well, but Kit 1 doesn’t include a battery grip—it’s powered by the AC adapter. If you regularly shoot in locations without power outlets, go with the Kit 2 with V-Mount grip. If you’re mostly indoors or in a studio, Kit 1 instead includes a tripod, a second reflector, and a softbox tilt mechanism. Is the color accuracy sufficient for paid work? CRI 97 and TLCI 98. This is the range where skin tones look natural without correction—not the range of cheap LEDs with a green cast. Do you want to use your studio light modifiers? You mount umbrellas using the included AD-E2 umbrella mount. For Bowens softboxes, you’ll also need the Bowens adapter, which isn’t included in the kit. Technical Details at a Glance Color Temperature: 2,800 to 6,500K Color Accuracy: CRI 97, TLCI 98 Brightness: 3,670 lux (1 m, 5,600 K), up to 34,300 lux with a 15° reflector Power consumption: 120 W Dimming: 0 to 100% Cooling: Fan Weight: 487g Dimensions: 12.19 x 11 x 4.6 cm Tripod thread: 1/4"-20 Package Contents 1 x LED Spot Light 1 x 15° reflector 1 x 36° reflector 1 x tripod 1 x Godox AD-E2 umbrella tilt 1 x power adapter and cable 1 x carrying case

Godox ML100Bi LED Video Light Compact and versatile
Godox ML100Bi LED Light – 120W Bi-Color Studio Quality
You have tripods in your closet and light modifiers on the wall, but no light that you can just plug in and take with you. The Godox ML100Bi fills exactly that gap: 120 watts of bi-color light in the size of a coffee cup, which you can mount on the tripod that’s already set up. You’re paying for the light, not for a second set of accessories. 2800 to 6500K bi-color, adapts to any ambient light CRI 97 and TLCI 98, skin tones remain natural Up to 34,300 lux with the 15° reflector—bright enough to compete with daylight Weighs just 487g and is the size of the palm of your hand—fits in any backpack Includes AD-E2 umbrella adapter—you can use umbrellas right away Control via the Godox Light App from up to 30 meters away Just the light—you already have the rest What’s included Light, protective cap, 15° reflector, AD-E2 umbrella adapter, power adapter, and cable. You’ll be ready to light your scene right away and can use umbrellas too. What’s not included: a tripod and a bag—which you’ve probably had sitting in your closet for ages. What’s Not Included No second reflector, no tripod, no carrying case, no battery grip. If you’re hesitating about any of these, read the last section: One of the two kits will be the more cost-effective option. Here’s what it looks like in everyday use Second light in your existing setup As a kicker or hair light next to your main light: You set the color temperature exactly to match what’s already there, and with a CRI of 97, nothing clashes. You can mount it on any tripod using the included head adapter. Interview in mixed lighting 2800 to 6500K continuously adjustable: You match the light that’s already there instead of fighting it. No color cast that you’ll have to correct in Lightroom later. Dimming ranges from 0 to 100 percent. Portrait against the sun With the 15° reflector, you get 34,300 lux at one meter. That’s enough to cleanly isolate a face against daylight. Eleven lighting effects—from fire to TV—are included for on-board film scenes. What you should know before ordering Need a tripod, bag, or a second reflector? Then check out the Kit1. It includes 15° and 36° reflectors, a tripod, the umbrella tilt, and a carrying case. Ordering these items separately rarely works out cheaper. Do you need battery power? The light also runs on a battery, but a handle isn’t included here. Either get the Kit2 with V-Mount handle, or you can retrofit the BG02 handle with a built-in 95-Wh battery. Technical Details at a Glance Color temperature: 2,800 to 6,500K Color accuracy: CRI 97, TLCI 98 Brightness: 3,670 lux (1 m, 5,600K), up to 34,300 lux with a 15° reflector Power consumption: 120W Dimming: 0 to 100% Cooling: Fan Weight: 487g Dimensions: 12.19 x 11 x 4.6 cm Tripod thread: 1/4"-20 Package Contents 1 x LED Spot Light 1 x Protective cap 1 x 15° reflector 1 x Godox AD-E2 umbrella tilt 1 x Power adapter 1 x Cable

Godox ML100R-Kit2 – 110W RGB NP-F Handle Mobile and Colourful
Whether it’s for your camera monitor, clip-on light, or recorder: Most people have had NP-F batteries in their bags for a long time—often several at once. The Godox ML100R Kit2 uses exactly those. You get the RGB light with both reflectors and the AK-B01 handle, which accommodates NP-F batteries. No new battery system, no second charger, no cables lying on the floor. AK-B01 handle for NP-F batteries included; batteries sold separately Full RGB and 1,800 to 10,000K; color without filters 14 lighting effects ranging from fire to strobe to police lights 15° and 36° reflectors, umbrella tilt mechanism, and carrying case included in the set 110W output, CRI and TLCI 95, weighs only 465g Bluetooth control via the Godox Light app up to 30 meters NP-F batteries instead of a new battery system What’s included Light with protective cover, 15° - and 36° reflectors, AK-B01 handle with connecting cable, power adapter with cable, AD-E2 umbrella tilt head, and a storage bag. In the studio, you plug it into the power adapter; outdoors, you use the battery—no need to switch anything around. You already have the batteries NP-F is the format that’s been used for years in monitors, recorders, and clip-on lights. Anyone from the video world has three or four of them in their case and charges them with the charger they carry with them anyway. A V-mount setup costs many times as much. Two reflectors for two lighting styles The 15° lens reflector focuses the light tightly and maximizes the range. The 36° reflector spreads the light more widely when you want to add color to an entire scene. Both are included here; the base model comes with only the 15° reflector. Here’s what it looks like in everyday use Music video on location Magenta from the back, cyan from the side—and you can switch between them from your phone between takes. No power outlet in sight, no changing filters, no debate over the right color tone. Warm light down to 1800K Candlelight, a fireplace, the last minutes before sunset: At 1800K, you’re in a place a bi-color light with 2800K can’t reach. Shooting on the Go 465 grams, 12.2 x 4.6 x 11 centimeters—all in the included bag. The light, both reflectors, the handle, and the tilt mechanism come as a single package. What You Should Know Before You Order The NP-F batteries are not included The AK-B01 is the handle; you’ll need to provide your own batteries. If you don’t have any yet, be sure to factor them into your cost. If you need long runtime per charge, check out the BG02 Handle with a built-in 95-Wh battery—it’s ready to use right away and has more reserve power than an NP-F. Are you concerned about skin tones? Then go with a bi-color light from the ML100Bi series. It doesn’t support RGB, but it has a CRI of 97 and a TLCI of 98 instead of the 95 here. For interviews and portraits, that’s the cleaner option.
