Godox MF-R76S+ Ring Flash for Dental Photography
The Godox MF-R76S+ Dental Macro Ring Flash is compatible with Sony TTL and optimized for dental photography. It offers customized, enhanced performance for dental photography. It illuminates teeth from all directions with soft, even light and eliminates unwanted vignetting and shadows. The ring light consists of two components: a controller that plugs into the camera's hot shoe and the ring flash that attaches to the lens. Godox supplies adapter rings with diameters of 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77 mm to ensure broad compatibility with most lenses. With a guide number of 45.9' at ISO 100, the MF-R76S+ provides detailed all-around illumination for close-up shots.
To add to the camera's versatility, the MF-R76S+ offers TTL and manual modes combined with HSS, first and second curtain sync capabilities. In addition, two flash assist lights with 10 adjustable power levels are useful for low-light scenes. The control unit is powered by an included lithium battery, which allows for long exposures with up to 550 flashes at full power. A large display shows flash settings for easy navigation and control. Godox also includes a charger, USB-C cable and storage bag.
Practical guide for dental photography
For best results in dental photography, the camera should be set to manual exposure with a shutter speed of 1/200s at ISO 100. Godox also recommends a distance of 5' between the photographer and the subject. It is also recommended that the lens be set to manual focus. With the MF-R76S+, you can capture images at different stages of dental treatment for easy comparison of patient progress.
