The Godox RFT-4 is the wide-angle reflector for SK300, SK400, MS200, MS300. Larger than the standard RFT (25 cm vs 18 cm), so wider, softer, more coverage. When your subject needs wide light or you're working at close range—RFT-4.

The difference from standard RFT is noticeable: instead of 18 cm diameter you get 25 cm. That means a larger light-source area, so softer transitions, gentler shadows. Ideal when you're doing full-body portraits or need a wide light source.

With the RFT-4 you can move closer to your subject and still light a large area. That's handy in small studios or when you need variable working distances.

When do you need the RFT-4?
Full-body portraits
When your subject fills the frame head-to-hip, you need wide light. The RFT-4 covers it without needing multiple meters of distance.
Group shots
Multiple people to light? The RFT-4 gives you the width for proper coverage.
Product photography
Larger products (furniture, sets, installations) need wide light. RFT-4 instead of RFT.
How does it differ from RFT?
Diameter: 25 cm vs 18 cm
RFT-4 is 7 cm larger in diameter. That gives noticeably softer light, larger lit area, shorter throw distance (light falls off faster with distance). If you're working at close range, that's the advantage.
RFT for distance, RFT-4 for proximity
Simply put: RFT when you have one to three meters distance. RFT-4 when you need to work closer or need wider coverage.
