The M15mm system is considered the standard system for plug-in filters in the ultra-wide angle range. It is equally suitable for SLR cameras but also for mirrorless cameras.

With a compatible filter holder and the matching adapter ring, the filter can then be used on almost any of your lens. It just needs für each lens a matching adapter ring.

To achieve an even exposure on subjects with strong differences in brightness (e.g. land - sky), a gray graduated filter is used.

A gray graduated filter is constructed into two areas, a clear zone and a neutral gray zone. The gray zone reduces the amount of light entering the lens. The clear zone allows light to pass through unobstructed.
This makes it possible to expose the image evenly. Example: Sunset on a mountain range, the sky is very bright and the mountain dark. Using the gray filter zone, the lighter area of the image is darkened, and then the appropriate exposure is set for the darker area of the image. This ensures that the image is correctly exposed over the entire image area.
