For professional illumination

The extension cable for external Nikon flash units is required when, for example, a flash bar is used or the desired lighting mood requires the use of a flash stand to connect the flash unit to the camera. With Nikon flash units, the flash metering (TTL and i-TTL) is transmitted in addition to the output pulse. With other flash units with centre contact, the flash is triggered (without flash metering).

The spiral cable has a length of 40 cm and can be extended to approx. 100 cm. The spiral shape avoids the unloved cable tangle.
