The JJC TP-S1 Recording Handle with a detachable wireless remote control replaces the Sony GP-VPT2BT Recording Handle, specially designed for Vlog recording, live streaming and selfie. The handle can be used both as a recording handle and as a mini tripod. With a 360° swivel range and a 180° swivel head, this flexible and shake-proof handle can be operated with one hand and helps improve shooting stability. Vertical shots are possible. In addition, the detachable wireless remote control (10 m ) can be used to take still pictures, record video, adjust the camera focus, zoom the camera and activate the C1 or AF-ON function of the camera. In addition, the shooting handle can be easily and securely mounted or removed by turning the thumbwheel, and the non-slip pads on the handle increase grip and improve stability.

Guter Handgriff, mässig gutes Kleinstativ
Funktioniert als Handgriff insgesamt sehr zuverlässig und ist dem Sony-Original in (fast) jeder Hinsicht vorzuziehen, zumal der Preis für das JJC-Produkt nur knapp ein Drittel ist! Hat allerdings wesentliche funktionelle Mängel bei Benutzung als Kleinstativ. Den Bluetooth-Kontakt zur Kamera kann man problemlos herstellen, die Verbindung bleibt stabil. Allerdings ist der massive und recht schwere Handgriff bei kleinen Kameras (ich benütze den Handgriff mit der RX100VII) sehr voluminös, ein richtiger Brocken, lässt sich aber mit der Handschlaufe mit nicht allzu kleinen Händen gut und sicher greifen. Auch das Abklappen der Kamera um 90 Grad für Hochformat-Aufnahmen aus der Hand geht sehr rasch vor sich.Den "blinden" Zugang zu den drei wichtigen Bedienknöpfen während des Aufnehmens, also nur mit dem Fingerspitzengefühl, empfinde ich aber als mühsam und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ein Kippschalter wie beim Original für Tele/Weitwinkel wäre da wesentlich funktioneller. Das Spreizen und vor allem das Zurückklappen der Stativbeine geht wegen der etwas billig gemachten Kunststoffgelenke harzig vor sich. Negativ: Beim Benützen des Handgriffs als Kleinstativ muss dieser zuerst um 90 Grad gedreht auf den Kameraboden aufgeschraubt werden, damit die Kamera bei der Objektsuche in der vertikalen Achse gekippt werden kann. Dann ist allerdings die Drehung auf der horizontalen Ebene kaum mehr möglich, ausser man dreht die Kamera samt Stativ, was auf unebenem Untergrund unpraktisch und ungenau ist. Fazit: als Handgriff nahezu perfekt, als Stativ bei Anspruch auf einigermassen exakte Positionierung der Kamera nur sehr eingeschränkt benutzbar.
