JJC Aluminum lens hood LH-JX100VII-S

This sturdy aluminum lens hood blocks light coming in from the side.

As a result, it prevents side light-induced reflections on lenses or frame parts, which can lead to image deficiencies such as low contrast or lens flare. This ensures better image quality.

In addition, the diaphragm absorbs light bumps and protects the front lens from raindrops. So that it does not cause reflections itself, the aperture is matte black on the inside. Incl. adapter ring for attaching the hood or for 49mm filters. The lens hood can be attached to the camera using the included adapter ring.

However, you can also use the adapter ring without the aperture as a completely normal filter adapter. The ring has a 49mm female thread, in which, for example, a filter, a close-up lens or a lens cap can be screwed or inserted. And since the bayonet mount for attaching the aperture is located on the outside of the adapter ring, the 49mm thread can even be used despite the mounted aperture.

ND filter 10 aperture filter thread 49 mm from Haida
Gray filter ND3.0 49mm NanoPro MC from Haida
Diameter: 49mm
Haida 10-Stop ND Filter, 49mm The Haida 10-Stop ND Filter, 49mm, is a precision screw-in filter designed for creative long exposures in bright light. With a light reduction of 10 stops, it allows you to capture images that would be nearly impossible without an ND filter—from silky water to dynamic cloud movements. Who it’s for This ND filter is ideal for landscape photographers who want to creatively capture water and skies. Travel photographers, content creators, and ambitious hobbyists also benefit from its ease of use and powerful effects. It’s equally suitable for professional users and videographers who work specifically with exposure time and motion. Advantages at a glance 10-stop light reduction for extreme long exposures High-quality optical glass for clear image quality Multi-coating reduces reflections and ghosting Water- and oil-repellent surface Robust, thin aluminum frame to prevent vignetting Easy to attach thanks to screw-in filter system What makes this product special The Haida ND1000 filter combines strong light reduction with high optical quality. The multi-layer coating minimizes distracting reflections and ensures clean, high-contrast images. At the same time, the durable surface protects against water, oil, and scratches—ideal for outdoor use in demanding conditions. Compatibility Suitable for all lenses with a 49mm filter thread. Technical Details Filter type: ND filter / neutral density filter Density: ND1000 (10 stops) Material: Optical glass Coating: Multi-layer coating Frame: Aluminum, thin Features: Water-repellent, oil-repellent, scratch-resistant Design: Screw-in filter Filter diameter: 49mm What’s Included Haida ND Filter 10 stops 49mm Conclusion The Haida ND Filter 49mm is a reliable choice for anyone looking to achieve precise, high-quality long exposures. Durable, easy to use, and optically impressive—a practical tool for creative photography in any lighting condition. Notice:This gray filter usually does not interfere with the automatic exposure metering of the camera. It can therefore be used in all automatic modes (e.g. P, Av, Tv). With some cameras, however, it may be necessary to cover the viewfinder so that the exposure metering is not distorted by incident light. Further, with filters of 3 f-stops or more, it is no longer possible to see on the camera screen. For this reason, focusing and image cropping would have to be done beforehand.Due to the slim design, the lens cap does not sit as snugly as without a filter and can therefore fall off more quickly.  The aperture reduction of ND filters is calculated as follows:The density of ND filters is usually given in steps of 0.3.To get the aperture reduction, first multiply the value by 10 and then divide it by 3. 0.3 x 10 = 3 | 3 = 1 f-stop0.9 x 10 = 9 | 3 = 3 f-stops0.6 x 10 = 6 | 3 = 2 f-stops1.2 x 10 = 12 | 3 = 4 f-stops1.8 x 10 = 18 | 3 = 6 f-stops3.0 x 10 = 30 | 3 = 10 f-stops3.6 x 10 = 36 | 3 = 12 f-stops4.5 x 10 = 45 | 3 = 15 f-stops
