Photographic Solutions PEC-PAD Lint-Free Wipes 10 x 10 cm, Pack of 10

Ordinary cloths and tissues leave fibres behind or scratch delicate surfaces. PEC-PADs are lint-free, non-abrasive and, according to the manufacturer, 99.999% pure. Together with Eclipse, they clean lenses, filters, film and scanners without leaving new marks.

PEC-PADs are made of a tear-resistant non-woven material that doesn't shed and won't scratch coated or uncoated lenses.

Versatile

Lenses, filters, binoculars, telescopes, film and photo paper with hardened emulsion, scanners, glass, plexiglass and picture frames: PEC-PADs are approved for all of these surfaces.

How this works in practice

Compact for your camera bag

Fold a pad, add two drops of Eclipse, and wipe lightly in one direction from the centre of the lens outwards. Refold the pad so you always work with a clean side. The 10-pack fits in any side pocket.

What you should know before you order

Not for the camera sensor

The manufacturer explicitly does not approve PEC-PADs for cleaning sensors in DSLR, mirrorless or cine cameras. That's what Sensor Swab Ultra is for.

Fluid sold separately

The wipes come dry. For fingerprints and grease you also need Eclipse or Aeroclipse. Take care with 35 mm colour film, as its base scratches easily.
