Power supply EH-5B with matching dummy EP-5B for Nikon EN-EL15
You know it: You have to take a lot of photos (e.g. products) in the studio and the battery is always empty. This can sometimes be tedious.
Here you have the right solution, the so-called DC coupler, which looks like an original battery, but has no inner life.
With this you can power your camera via a separate power supply and can shoot as long as you want.
This set is also available from Nikon, the power supply is called Nikon EH-5/EH-5a/EH-5b/EH-5c and the battery Nikon EP-5B DC-Coupler.

All as expected!
I needed to create a time lapse camera from Nikon D810 -- worked as expected. The only concern is what to do the the "door" of the battery compartment, if you want to close it.

Aufnahmen über langen Zeitraum möglich
Für wiederkehrende Studioaufnahmen, welche über einen Zeitraum von mehreren Stunden gehen, funktioniert diese Netzteil super.

Tut was es soll
Funktioniert mit meiner Nikon Z6. Die Batteriestandsanzeige zeigt manchmal voll, manchmal halbvoll an. Mit aufgladenen Nikon Akkus zeigt diese aber zuverlässig voll an. Daher denke ich, dass es am Netzteil liegt. Grundsätzlich ist das aber kein Problem, da die Kamera auch so einwandfrei funktioniert.

Funktioniert wie beschrieben, Tip top
Good quality, works well with my Z6. I use it to power the camera for long term time lapses. It uses the simple "figure 8" power connector for AC connection. I will soon make a conversion for myself to power it from a 5V power bank for portable power.
