The screen protector is made of optical glass and consists of a total of six layers, which are made up of the actual protective glass, an anti-reflective coating, a hard coating and a shatter protection layer. The protective glass is only approx. 0.3 mm thick. The anti-reflective coating minimizes annoying reflections. This structure makes the glass used particularly clear. This ensures a light transmission of 95% and an optimum view of the camera display of the Ricoh GR IIIx and GR III. The display protection has a high degree of hardness. This minimizes the risk of damage. The anti-shatter layer makes the screen protector shatterproof, so that it does not shatter in the event of damage and sticks to the camera display in one piece.

The screen protector for the Ricoh GR IIIx and GR III is not glued on, but adheres by adhesion. To attach the screen protector, simply place it on the display and press lightly. Attaching the screen protector

Before you attach the screen protector to your Ricoh GR IIIx and GR III, you should thoroughly clean the display to ensure optimum adhesion and to prevent dust from getting between the display and the screen protector. Don't worry, the cleaning material is already included in the scope of delivery: a microfiber cloth, a damp cleaning cloth and an adhesive surface to pick up dust particles.

The protective film is cut to fit the display perfectly and does not cover any part of the display, all information is visible even after the screen protector has been fitted. The display can still be folded in, but it may no longer snap into place as it would without the screen protector; unfortunately, this varies from camera to camera and cannot be said across the board.
