SmallRig Camera Cage Panasonic Lumix GH5 / GH5S
The cage benefits your Panasonic GH5 camera during video production, as it increases protection and stability and offers more mounting options.
The cage fits the camera perfectly and does not block access to the SD card slot, battery compartment and all camera controls. It is equipped with a row of 1/4’ threaded holes on the top for the 1984/1638 top handle.
The integrated ISO hot shoe on the top allows microphones or accessories with cold shoe adapters to be attached. It is equipped with NATO rails for NATO handles on both sides to provide more mounting options. The cage shoe 1241 could be attached to the cage via 1/4’ and M2.5 threaded holes for microphone, LED lights, etc. NATO rails on the sides of the cage could attach the NATO clamp to the Arri Rosette 2046 and then the 1941 wooden handle for quick release. HDMI Lock 1822 could be mounted laterally via 1/4‘ threads to protect HDMI cables. On the underside there is a row of 1/4‘ and 3/8’ threaded holes for Manfrotto and Vinten QR plates or the 2035 quick-release base plate set. The 2016 lens adapter holder can be mounted on the bottom of the cage to support the Metabones lens adapter. There is also a wrist strap loop on the right-hand side of the cage. The cage is good for the heat dissipation of the camera and prevents it from twisting. Apart from this, a DMW-XLR1 helmet kit 2017 for handheld shooting and to protect XLR could be attached to the top of the cage Panasonic Lumix GH5.
