Adapter for EF lenses on M43 cameras - with aperture transfer

With this adapter it is possible to use EF lenses on a M43 camera with small restrictions.

Built-in in this adapter is a lens which changes the aperture and focal length.

The built-in lens changes the focal length and aperture of the lens. The aperture becomes one step higher, from f.1.4 to f 1.2.

The focal length behaves as follows. Lens 50 mm mounted on the M43 camera, x 0.71 (adapter) x2 (sensor size of camera) results in 71 mm.

The adapted EF lens then has almost the same functionality as a real M43 autofocus lens, only the Auto Focus is not quite as fast as with an original lens.

The adapted lens can be used in all shooting modes. The aperture control works without any restrictions. Important information, such as the aperture or the focal length, is transferred to the Exif data of the image by the camera. The image stabilizer is supported on almost all lenses.

In the M and aperture-priority shooting modes, you can set the desired exposure time on the camera yourself. In the other modes, the exposure time is calculated and set by the camera.

The lens adapter is very precisely manufactured, so it mounts seamlessly into the bayonet mount of a compatible M43 cameras camera.
The camera and lens side connections are made of chrome-plated brass. The contacts on both sides of the adapter are gold-plated for proper signal transmission.

The inside of the adapter is matted. The matte finish prevents reflections that can cause image defects such as low contrast or lens flare in the form of stray light.  This ensures high image quality.
In addition, the adapter is made of sturdy metal and features an integrated 1/4"-20 tripod mount to support heavier lenses.
