Sensor and optics in one kit

The 20 mm swabs and Eclipse take care of the sensor, PEC-PADs and the E-Wipe handle lenses and filters. Everything is matched, nothing to hunt down.

How this works in practice

Travelling, far from any service centre

After a week of lens changes, spots appear in the sky. Blow off loose dust, two drops of Eclipse on a swab, one firm pass across the sensor and back with the clean side. A quick wipe of the filter with the E-Wipe, and you keep shooting.

Fits your camera

Type 1 is designed for Canon EOS-1D Mark III and Mark IV (APS-H) and older pro Nikon DX bodies such as the D2X, D200 or D300.

What you should know before you order

Check the width

The swabs in this kit are 20 mm wide. For most current APS-C cameras Type 2 (17 mm) is right, for full frame Type 3 (24 mm). No blower included: for the first step, blowing off loose dust, you also need a blower such as the Orbit.

Four swabs, then restock

Each swab is single-use. Refills are available as Sensor Swab Ultra Type 1 12-packs. Eclipse is flammable, and PEC-PADs are not meant for the sensor.
