What does grid do at 120cm?
S120T without grid is a classic, very broad softbox–minimal falloff, even light across huge area. With grid: light gets focused, but still broader than smaller grids. Perfect for studios that want large, wide softboxes with selective focus effects.
Large-area accents
No extra strobe needed. One S120T with grid for full-body accents (e.g., on torso), one without for broad body light. Fast studio switches.
Only for S120T (120cm)
S120T-Grid fits only the 120cm softbox. Not S65T or S85T–those need S65T-Grid or S85T-Grid respectively.
Cinema quality with focus
Film and TV use large softboxes with grids for this combination: cinema light quality, but with selective accents where needed.
