Quick-open-not construction
Most softboxes need rods and assembly. The S65T is different: it's an umbrella system. Out of the bag, opened like an umbrella, two seconds later you have light. This is for photographers who work fast-location shoots, quick setups, studios that work lean.
65 cm-the small softbox
65 cm isn't large, but perfect for portrait. Broader light than beauty dish, softer than reflector, more compact than the larger 85 or 120. Fits small studios, takes less space on set.
Diffuse, soft light
Softboxes make diffuse light-the opposite of specular. No hard shadows, no shine drama. Perfect for portraits, beauty, product work where you need even, soft coverage.
Optional: Grid for spot effect
With the S65T-Grid you can tighten light-ideal when you only want part of the set lit. But even without grid: the S65T is a classic softbox.
