Manufacturer "Haida Filter"

The manufacturer Haida specializes in the production of high quality filters for various uses in photography. Haida filters are all made of optical glass. Haida produces filter holders as well as screw filters. The filter holders for plug-in filters are available in the width of 100 mm and 150 mm in our assortment. There are also matching Haida adapter rings in different sizes. Of course, Haid also manufactures ND and GND filters in various dimensions. The Haida ND filters are mainly used in landscape photography. When it comes to coating, the Haida company uses the NanoPro MC designation for multi-coated surfaces, with the NanoPro series being the most current version. Haida systems are available for all sizes of lenses from different manufacturers. The kit Haida M10 II system for 100 mm should not be missing on any photographer's wish list. Haida filters can be used especially well for shooting with water. Haida products do not need to be afraid of comparison with other products such as those from Lee. The ND or gray filters are available in different strengths. So that not too much time is lost in post-processing, the filters from Haid are color-neutral. With the Haida M10 series, you can make perfect long exposures. The corresponding 100 mm graduated filters can be mounted high or low in the filter holder. For ultra-wide angles, Haida also has a corresponding solution in its range, namely the M15 system. With a width of 150 mm, these filters cover a wider angle of view compared to the 100 mm. If such an ultra-wide angle is on your wish list, please be sure to note the Haida M15, there are various adapters for the most diverse combinations. Haida also has rear lens filters, these mount in the lens bayonet and are available in various strengths. Simply put, you can find the right filter for every application in Haida's range. Whether these are then used in the city or in the countryside, it does not matter. The products are also accompanied by brochures or manuals in English that give an overview of the entire range.

Haida 72mm 3-Stop Neutral Density Filter The Haida 72mm 3-Stop ND Filter is a high-quality neutral density filter that offers greater creative freedom in bright light. It specifically reduces the amount of incoming light, allowing you to shoot with a wide aperture or use longer exposure times even in direct sunlight—without compromising on sharpness or color accuracy. Who it’s for You want to photograph landscapes with soft water or cloud movements You want to “remove” distracting people from city scenes You want to take portraits in sunlight with beautiful background blur You want to create creative long exposures As an ambitious photographer or professional, you’re looking for more creative control Benefits at a glance 3-stop light reduction for controlled exposure High color neutrality without color cast Excellent sharpness performance Thin filter mount prevents vignetting Easy to use as a screw-in filter Ideal for creative photography in daylight Robust protective case included What makes this product special The Haida ND filter combines precise light reduction with high optical quality. This allows you to create effects such as gently flowing water, dynamic clouds, or intentional motion blur without distorting colors. The slim design ensures that no distracting vignetting occurs, even with wide-angle shots. At the same time, image sharpness remains at a high level—a decisive advantage over simple ND filters. Compatibility Suitable for all lenses with a 72mm filter thread. Technical Details Filter type: ND filter (Neutral Density / Gray filter) Light reduction: 3 stops Diameter: 72mm Design: Screw-in filter High color neutrality Thin filter frame What’s Included Haida ND Filter 72mm 3 Stops Protective case Conclusion The Haida ND Filter 72mm with 3 stops is the ideal choice if you want more creative control in bright light. It impresses with high optical quality, ease of use, and versatile applications—a reliable screw-in filter for ambitious photographers. Notice:This gray filter usually does not interfere with the automatic exposure metering of the camera. It can therefore be used in all automatic modes (e.g. P, Av, Tv). With some cameras, however, it may be necessary to cover the viewfinder so that the exposure metering is not distorted by incident light. Further, with filters of 3 f-stops or more, it is no longer possible to see on the camera screen. For this reason, focusing and image cropping would have to be done beforehand.Due to the slim design, the lens cap does not sit as snugly as without a filter and can therefore fall off more quickly.  The aperture reduction of ND filters is calculated as follows: The density of ND filters is usually given in steps of 0.3.To get the aperture reduction, first multiply the value by 10 and then divide it by 3. 0.3 x 10 = 3 | 3 = 1 f-stop0.9 x 10 = 9 | 3 = 3 f-stops0.6 x 10 = 6 | 3 = 2 f-stops1.2 x 10 = 12 | 3 = 4 f-stops1.8 x 10 = 18 | 3 = 6 f-stops3.0 x 10 = 30 | 3 = 10 f-stops3.6 x 10 = 36 | 3 = 12 f-stops4.5 x 10 = 45 | 3 = 15 f-stops

Solar Filter with 72mm from Haida
Solar Filter with 72mm from Haida
Diameter: 72mm
Haida Solar Screw Filter 72 mm Diameter The Haida Solar Filter 72 mm with a neutral density of 6.0 produces images with a neutral hue and no color cast or loss of sharpness. The 20-step exposure reduction, built-in infrared blocking, and 6.0 density block invisible radiation. This is outside the visual spectrum that can be detected by the image sensors. This can affect the capture of clear images. This filter has the effect of darkening the entire image, which makes it particularly suitable for photographing the sun and solar eclipses. With this filter, you can take photos with a larger aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. This is a photo-only filter and is not suitable for direct naked-eye observation of the sun.Warning: Under no circumstances should these filters be used to view a solar eclipse with the naked eye. These products are intended for on-camera use only. These filters do not provide the same level of optical protection as eclipse glasses, and using these filters to look directly at the sun before, during, or after an eclipse could permanently damage your eyesight. Haida and Fotichaestli will not be liable for any costs, expenses or medical claims related to damage to your eyesight resulting from improper use of these filters. Due to the extremely long exposure times that these filters allow, there is a great risk that light will penetrate through the camera body and be reflected in your image. Therefore, when using a camera with an optical viewfinder, it is imperative to darken the viewfinder. This can be done with a cloth or with a tape that does not stick too well.Haida and Fotichaestli is not liable for any damage caused by exposing the sensor of your camera to direct sunlight with or without our filters. Further, with filters of 3 f-stops or more, it is no longer possible to see on the camera screen. For this reason, focusing and image cropping would have to be done beforehand.Due to the slim design, the lens cap does not sit as snugly as without a filter and can therefore fall off more quickly.  The aperture reduction of ND filters is calculated as follows:The density of ND filters is usually given in steps of 0.3.To get the aperture reduction, first multiply the value by 10 and then divide it by 3. 0.3 x 10 = 3 | 3 = 1 f-stop0.9 x 10 = 9 | 3 = 3 f-stops0.6 x 10 = 6 | 3 = 2 f-stops1.2 x 10 = 12 | 3 = 4 f-stops1.8 x 10 = 18 | 3 = 6 f-stops3.0 x 10 = 30 | 3 = 10 f-stops3.6 x 10 = 36 | 3 = 12 f-stops4.5 x 10 = 45 | 3 = 15 f-stops

Haida NanoPro Varibale ND Filter 72mm
Haida NanoPro Varibale ND Filter 72mm
Diameter: 72mm
Haida Variable Gray Filter Fader 72mm with Nano Pro multiple coating. Gray filters are suitable for many different purposes. The best known is probably their use for lengthening the exposure time, so that water movements are shown "velvety" or to make places appear deserted. But a gray filter is also not out of place in the studio, because often you want to choose a small f-number to keep the focus area small. For videographers, variable ND filters are almost essential and are in every videographer's backpack, since it is not possible to change filters very quickly while filming. This allows videographers to quickly change the ND range they need. The Haida Gray Filter Fader is continuously adjustable, so you can leave all other gray filters at home. Neutral densities from ND1.2 - ND-2.7 can be adjusted by simply turning, similar to a polarizing filter. When there is too much light or light of different brightness in the subject, the gray filter reduces the amount of light without changing color tones or contrasts in the image. If you want to take a picture of flowing water, for example, you would have to choose a slow shutter speed; without the use of a gray filter, this would result in a considerably overexposed image. Use the Haida gray filter at ISO100, with a slow shutter speed and a high f-number and you will get your desired image with flowing water. The design of the filter is such that the front diameter is larger than the lens mount. Information about the vignetting of this filter can be found below in the available downloads.High-quality processing and coating for flawless image qualityThe scratch-resistant optical glass and thin construction of the ND filter ensure flawless image quality, without vignetting or flare effects. The water-repellent Nano Pro multi-coating makes the gray filter durable and meets the highest demands in terms of quality and imaging performance. All advantages at a glance:For slower shutter speeds and more open apertures in daylight.High-quality optical Nano Pro glassScratch-resistant and water-repellentColor cast free, high sharpnessOverbuilt design for zero vignetting Lens cap not mountableMultiple filters can be combined thanks to front thread Technical details:Material: multi-coated optical Nano Pro glass in high-quality metal mount Protection against: splash water, dirt, dust, oil, scratches etc. Extension factor: 1.2 - 2.7 (4 to 9 stops)Filter size: 72mmOverall height: 7mmOverbuilt design: Front part larger than connection thread to prevent vignetting Stop: No stop Lens cap mountable: No Front thread available: 82mmFilters stackable with each other (Attention: the more filters on top of each other, the more vignetting will result) Scope of delivery:1 x Haida Variable Gray Filter 72mm 1 x storage boxThe aperture reduction of ND filters is calculated as follows:The density of ND filters is usually given in steps of 0.3.To get the aperture reduction, first multiply the value by 10 and then divide it by 3.0.3 x 10 = 3 | 3 = 1 f-stop0.9 x 10 = 9 | 3 = 3 f-stops0.6 x 10 = 6 | 3 = 2 f-stops1.2 x 10 = 12 | 3 = 4 f-stops1.8 x 10 = 18 | 3 = 6 f-stops3.0 x 10 = 30 | 3 = 10 f-stops3.6 x 10 = 36 | 3 = 12 f-stops4.5 x 10 = 45 | 3 = 15 f-stops

Haida NanoPro Grand ND 0.9 Filter 72mm
Haida NanoPro Grand ND 0.9 Filter 72mm
Diameter: 72mm
Gray graduated filter 72 mm ND 0.9 from Haida Light balance between heaven and earthHaida gray graduated filters are used to darken the sky or foreground. They are each neutral gray to the half ünt, which blends softly into the approximate filter half ühfte. The rotatable Haida filter mount allows for exact horizontal alignment when the filter is screwed on tightly.A Haida gray graduated filter is überwiegend used to compensate for a too bright sky. For metering, without a graduated filter, the camera or handheld light meter should be aimed downward at the foreground to be exposed correctly. For the sky, this almost always automatically produces the optimum effect.Exposure allowances to compensate for absorption in the dense part of the graduated filter should be tight, so that the filter effect is not diminished too much! If the exposure metering is done through the filter, a minus correction of about 0.5 light values can be beneficial.- Adjustment of brightness differences - Ideal für the landscape photography - Uniform gradient from the edge to the center - Suitable for analog as well as digital camerasDue to the strong light damping by three f-stops (max. 3 f-stops), this graduated filter can already lead to quite dramatic effects. Haida NanoPro IR720 Filter 72mm
Haida NanoPro IR720 Filter 72mm
Diameter: 72mm
Infrared filter IR720 to filter diameter 72mm Infrared photography or IR photography, as it is called for short, is something fundamentally different in that it takes place outside the spectral range visible to us humans. Only the sensor in the camera as a tool "translates" the image that is not visible to us into a visible one. There is not the infrared photography par excellence, but many variations are possible, depending on the filter one uses. This special infrared filter (also called black filter, because it appears almost opaque to the human eye) is necessary to block out the visible light, because only then an infrared photo is created. An infrared filter opens the door to creativity. This filter blocks the visible light up to certain spectral range, 720NM, thus for human eyes invisible long-wave radiation is let through. This results in breathtaking photographs. The advantages at a glance: Multi-layer coating, black aluminum frame, black framed glass, narrow and knurled filter mount, UV protected filter boxes. Tip for IR photography: Screw the filter onto the lens. Set the camera to ISO 400. Take a shot of a green area. Use the shot for a manual white balance. Choose a longer exposure time for your shot and use a tripod. Suitable for: For lenses with a filter diameter of 72mm. Scope of delivery: 1x Haida IR720 72mm 1x storage box
