The JJC LH-Z40F2 lens hood was specially developed for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 40 mm f/2 (SE), NIKKOR Z 40 mm f/2 and NIKKOR Z 26 mm f/2.8 lenses. It prevents unwanted stray light from entering the lens by lengthening and darkening the end of the lens and is perfectly matched to the respective focal length of the lens. The inside of the lens hood is frosted to further reduce stray light. No vignetting occurs when the lens hood is attached. The extended lens end provides additional protection against accidental impact. The entire lens hood preserves the aesthetics of the lens and the camera system. In addition, the lens hood does not interfere with the use of a filter.
The main part of the lens hood is made of high-quality aluminium alloy, which ensures strength and durability, and the bayonet catch is made of synthetic resin, which will not damage your lenses. The lens hood comes with a cap that effectively prevents the ingress of dust and protects against accidental drops.
