Manufacturer "Haida Filter"

The manufacturer Haida specializes in the production of high quality filters for various uses in photography. Haida filters are all made of optical glass. Haida produces filter holders as well as screw filters. The filter holders for plug-in filters are available in the width of 100 mm and 150 mm in our assortment. There are also matching Haida adapter rings in different sizes. Of course, Haid also manufactures ND and GND filters in various dimensions. The Haida ND filters are mainly used in landscape photography. When it comes to coating, the Haida company uses the NanoPro MC designation for multi-coated surfaces, with the NanoPro series being the most current version. Haida systems are available for all sizes of lenses from different manufacturers. The kit Haida M10 II system for 100 mm should not be missing on any photographer's wish list. Haida filters can be used especially well for shooting with water. Haida products do not need to be afraid of comparison with other products such as those from Lee. The ND or gray filters are available in different strengths. So that not too much time is lost in post-processing, the filters from Haid are color-neutral. With the Haida M10 series, you can make perfect long exposures. The corresponding 100 mm graduated filters can be mounted high or low in the filter holder. For ultra-wide angles, Haida also has a corresponding solution in its range, namely the M15 system. With a width of 150 mm, these filters cover a wider angle of view compared to the 100 mm. If such an ultra-wide angle is on your wish list, please be sure to note the Haida M15, there are various adapters for the most diverse combinations. Haida also has rear lens filters, these mount in the lens bayonet and are available in various strengths. Simply put, you can find the right filter for every application in Haida's range. Whether these are then used in the city or in the countryside, it does not matter. The products are also accompanied by brochures or manuals in English that give an overview of the entire range.

Haida 6-Stop ND Filter, 55 mm The Haida 6-Stop ND Filter, 55 mm, is a high-quality screw-in filter designed for creative photography and video recording in bright light. With a light reduction of 6 stops, it allows you to achieve controlled long exposures and precise exposure—without color distortion. Who it’s for You photograph landscapes with flowing water or moving clouds You want to work with long exposure times in daylight You photograph with a wide aperture in bright light You want to maintain correct exposure times in video You’re a beginner or advanced photographer looking for more control Advantages at a glance 6-stop light reduction for striking creative effects 64× longer exposure times possible Neutral color reproduction without color cast High-quality optical glass for clear image quality Nano-Pro multi-coating against water, oil, and dirt Slim design reduces vignetting Robust aluminum frame What makes this product special The Haida ND64 filter combines precise light reduction with neutral color rendering—a decisive advantage over many cheaper neutral density filters. The Nano-Pro coating ensures that water, fingerprints, and dirt barely stick and can be easily removed. At the same time, the slim design minimizes edge shading, which is particularly important for wide-angle shots. Compatibility This screw-in filter is compatible with all lenses featuring a 55mm filter thread. Technical Details Filter Type: ND Filter (Neutral Density Filter) Density: 6 f-stops Light Reduction: 64× Density: 1.8 Material: Optical Glass Coating: Nano-Pro Multicoating Features: Water-, oil-, and dirt-repellent Color Rendering: Neutral Frame Material: Aluminum Design: Slim Included Haida ND Filter Neutral Density Filter 6 Stops 55mm Conclusion The Haida ND Filter 55mm is a reliable choice for anyone looking to achieve long exposures and creative effects in daylight. You’ll benefit from crisp image quality, robust construction, and easy handling—ideal for both photography and video. Notice:This gray filter usually does not interfere with the automatic exposure metering of the camera. It can therefore be used in all automatic modes (e.g. P, Av, Tv). With some cameras, however, it may be necessary to cover the viewfinder so that the exposure metering is not distorted by incident light. Further, with filters of 3 f-stops or more, it is no longer possible to see on the camera screen. For this reason, focusing and image cropping would have to be done beforehand.Due to the slim design, the lens cap does not sit as snugly as without a filter and can therefore fall off more quickly.  The aperture reduction of ND filters is calculated as follows:The density of ND filters is usually given in steps of 0.3.To get the aperture reduction, first multiply the value by 10 and then divide it by 3. 0.3 x 10 = 3 | 3 = 1 f-stop0.9 x 10 = 9 | 3 = 3 f-stops0.6 x 10 = 6 | 3 = 2 f-stops1.2 x 10 = 12 | 3 = 4 f-stops1.8 x 10 = 18 | 3 = 6 f-stops3.0 x 10 = 30 | 3 = 10 f-stops3.6 x 10 = 36 | 3 = 12 f-stops4.5 x 10 = 45 | 3 = 15 f-stops

Haida NanoPro Varibale ND Filter 55mm
Haida NanoPro Varibale ND Filter 55mm
Diameter: 55mm
Haida Variable Gray Filter Fader 55mm with Nano Pro multiple coating. Gray filters are suitable for many different purposes. The best known is probably their use for lengthening the exposure time, so that water movements are shown "velvety" or to make places appear deserted. But a gray filter is also not out of place in the studio, because often you want to choose a small f-number to keep the focus area small. For videographers, variable ND filters are almost essential and are in every videographer's backpack, since it is not possible to change filters very quickly while filming. This allows videographers to quickly change the ND range they need. The Haida Gray Filter Fader is continuously adjustable, so you can leave all other gray filters at home. Neutral densities from ND1.2 - ND-2.7 can be adjusted by simply turning, similar to a polarizing filter. When there is too much light or light of different brightness in the subject, the gray filter reduces the amount of light without changing color tones or contrasts in the image. If you want to take a picture of flowing water, for example, you would have to choose a slow shutter speed; without the use of a gray filter, this would result in a considerably overexposed image. Use the Haida gray filter at ISO100, with a slow shutter speed and a high f-number and you will get your desired image with flowing water. The design of the filter is such that the front diameter is larger than the lens mount. Information about the vignetting of this filter can be found below in the available downloads.High-quality processing and coating for flawless image qualityThe scratch-resistant optical glass and thin construction of the ND filter ensure flawless image quality, without vignetting or flare effects.
