The screen protector is made of optical glass and consists of a total of six layers: the actual protective glass, an anti-reflective coating, a hard coating and a shatter protection layer. Nevertheless, the protective cover is only approx. 0.3 mm thick on the camera display. The anti-reflective coating minimizes annoying reflections. This design makes the glass used particularly clear. This ensures a light transmission of 95% and an optimum view of the camera display of the Nikon Z9, Nikon Z8 and Nikon ZF. The screen protector has a high degree of hardness. This minimizes the risk of damage. The anti-splinter layer makes the screen protector shatter-proof, so that in the event of damage it does not shatter and sticks to the camera display in one piece.

Adhesion through adhesion, no adhesive - touchscreens remain operable

The screen protector for the Nikon Z9 Nikon Z8 and Nikon ZF  is not glued on, it adheres independently by adhesion. To attach the screen protector, simply place it on the display and press down carefully. It then adheres to the display and the bubbles disappear. And because it is attached without adhesive, the screen protector can be removed 100% residue-free. Thanks to the adhesion, the screen protector has contact with the entire display surface and not just the edges. The touchscreen, if present, therefore remains operable.

Mounting the screen protector

Before applying the screen protector to the display of your Nikon Z9, Nikon Z8 and Nikon ZF, you should thoroughly clean the display to ensure optimum adhesion and to prevent dust from getting between the display and the screen protector. Don't worry, the cleaning material is already included in the scope of delivery: a microfiber cloth, a damp cleaning cloth and an adhesive surface to absorb dust particles.

The protective cover is cut to fit the display perfectly and does not cover any part of your display, all information is visible even after the screen protector has been fitted. The display can still be folded in, but it may no longer snap into place as it would without the screen protector; unfortunately, this varies from camera to camera and cannot be said in general.
