SmallRig 6649 Filter Set VND Black Mist for Osmo Pocket

Three looks, straight on the camera

Control exposure and motion

The VND adjusts 1 to 5 stops (ND2–ND32) – for overcast skies, golden hour and bright daylight. You keep the shutter low and get soft, cinematic motion.

Soft highlights and a clear view

The 1/4 Black Diffusion softens harsh highlights for a gentle cine look in portraits, night scenes and vlogs. The CPL reduces reflections from water, glass and painted surfaces.

How this works in practice

Quick swaps without accessories

Each filter mounts directly on the camera – no base needed. You switch between VND, Black Diffusion and CPL by subject. The included cloth keeps the glass clean.

What you should know before you order

Not stackable

Unlike SmallRig's split kits, the 6649 mounts directly and cannot be stacked – only one filter at a time. If you want to combine filters, a split kit with a base (e.g. 6477) is the right choice.

Install with the camera off

Before fitting, removing or swapping, power the camera off and fit the filter the right way round – that protects the gimbal.
