Aluminium adapter for FD lens on Canon EOS-M camera

This sturdy, precision-engineered adapter ring allows Canon FD lenses to be attached to Canon EOS-M cameras. The adapter compensates for the difference in flange focal length between the camera and the lens, so that you can easily focus to infinity. However, the focus as well as the aperture must be set manually on the lens. The appropriate exposure time can either be selected manually on the camera in M mode or calculated by the camera in aperture priority mode.

Handling

Before attaching the lens, you must move the rotating ring of the adapter to the "ON" position.
Attach the lens to the adapter.
Move the rotating ring to the "OFF" position. Then you can adjust the aperture with the aperture ring of the lens.

Note

With the EOS M, you must select the "Enable" option in the menu under "Settings/Output without lens", otherwise the camera will not shut down.
