JJC Eyecup ES-A7
The eyecup prevents incident side or stray light from interfering with the view through the viewfinder. The viewfinder image is richer in contrast and clearer. The self-clamping mount keeps the eyecup securely in place on the camera. The inner ring of the eyecup is made of light, sturdy plastic, while the eyecup itself is made of TPU, a rubber that feels pleasant on the skin. It can be rotated 180° so that it can be used for both the right and left eye.

Als prof. Theaterfotograf habe ich oft mit seitlich in den Sucher einfallendes Licht zu tun. Ich habe lange nach so einer Muschel gesucht. Leider entspricht sie nicht so ganz meinen Erwartungen. Das Gummi ist, wie hier schon erwähnt, sehr hart und nach mehrstündigen Arbeiten führt das zu unangenehmen Druckstellen um das Auge herum. Ich hoffe, dass ich das Gummi noch irgendwie „weich klopfen“ kann.f25f8

Funktioniert, ist aber etwas hart
Die Augenmuschel passt ideal auf meine Sony a7r III und ersetzt die Standardmuschel. Seitlich einfallendes Licht wird gut abgedeckt und hilf bei sehr heller Umgebung und Sonnenlicht. Die Bildgestaltung und Beurteilung durch den Sucher ist dadurch wesentlich einfacher. Das Material ist mir persönlich zu hart und wenig anschmiegsam, was mich persönlich stört. Ebenfalls kann ich die Kamera mit aufgesetzter Muschel nicht in gewohnter Weise verstauen, da das Teil erheblich vorsteht. Fazit: Ich verwende die Muschel aus den oben genannten Gründen nur selten.

Leicht und praktisch. Erfüllt seine Aufgabe sehr gut.
Passt zu Sony Alpha 7rII. Die Muschel deckt sehr gut seitlich einfallendes Licht rund um das Auge ab. Die kameraeigene automatische Monitor-Deaktivierung bei Annäherung bleibt erfreulicherweise erhalten. Allerdings deckt die Augenmuschel nicht unwesentlich einen oberen Bereich des Bildschirms ab; man kann sich aber dadurch behelfen, den Monitor kurz herauszuklappen.

Passt auch perfekt auf die Sony A99II und bei gerade sonnigem Wetter ist der EVF sehr gut durch die Augenmuschel vom Umgebungslicht abgedeckt
