Shoulder strap, neck strap or sling strap – extremely versatile
The Slide Lite camera strap from Peak Design is a narrow version. Originally developed for system cameras, it is also ideal for small SLR cameras, bridge cameras or compact cameras. The different carrying versions make this strap extremely versatile. It can be used as a shoulder strap, neck strap or sling strap.
Extremely convenient and quick camera access when using the Slide as a sling strap
The Slide Lite as a sling strap, i.e. worn diagonally around the upper body with the camera hanging on the side of the body, offers the greatest wearing and operating comfort. The camera is in your hand in a flash and snapshots are safely in the box.
Perfectly thought-out and secure - thanks to the anchor loop and buckle
Like all other Peak Design straps, the Cuff-Black also has a clever fastening system consisting of a plug-in fastener on the wrist strap and a sturdy anchor loop for attaching to the camera. Both components can be easily separated from each other despite their extremely secure connection. This makes it quick and easy to attach and detach from the camera. The hand strap can either be attached to a belt or directly to the camera tripod thread using an adapter.
Anchor loops suitable for other Peak Design products
In order to be able to easily interchange the different straps and hand loops, the anchor loops are also suitable for the plug-in fasteners of other Peak Design products. It's very simple: remove the Slide Lite from the anchor loops on the camera and clip in the other strap or hand loop.
Arca-compatible camera plate for attaching to the tripod thread of a camera
The Slide Lite can be attached to the tripod thread of the camera using the small standard plate camera plate. The strap now has the function of a sling strap. The anchor loops are attached to the plate with a circumferential Arca profile using two eyelets. This allows the camera to be quickly attached to a panhead with a compatible quick-release coupling. The camera plate can also be used in the CapturePro and Capture Clip.
Width and inner padding = optimum wearing comfort
The Slide Lite is quite narrow with a width of 32 mm, yet the weight distribution is optimal. A thin inner padding prevents it from cutting into the skin and ensures a high level of comfort. The Slide Lite can be stowed away in a rucksack or trolley to save space.
Smooth as a sling strap, non-slip as a shoulder strap
The different textures of the Slide Light are there for a good reason: when used as a sling strap, the strap glides smoothly along clothing. If the Slide Light is used as a shoulder strap, the other side, which has non-slip rubber strips, prevents the strap from slipping off the shoulder too easily.
Perfect upper material – Tear-resistant and quite smooth
The material of the Slide Light is ballistic nylon. Similar to a car seatbelt, this material is very resistant and tear-proof. At the same time, its smooth and soft texture means that it is gentle on the material and does not come into contact with clothing.
Fold-out metal straps – for the optimum belt length
With the help of two fold-out metal brackets on the Slide Lite, the harness length can be adjusted quickly and easily.
