The Godox S85T-Grid is the focus element for the S85T softbox (85 cm, standard). The grid transforms broad softbox light into focused light–perfect for eye light, portrait accents, when you only want part of the set lit. Simply insert in the softbox, two-second swap.

Softbox + grid = two lights in one
What does the grid do?
S85T without grid is a classic, broad softbox–soft light over large area. With grid: light concentrates to the grid surface. Not as focused as snoot, but much tighter than bare softbox. Perfect for studios that need fast switches between broad and focused light.
Fast studio swap
No extra strobe needed. One S85T with grid for eye light and portrait accents, one without for broad beauty light. Two-second studio switch.
Standard grid for standard softbox
S85T-Grid fits only the 85cm softbox (S85T). That's the most common size, hence most-used grid size. Not S65T or S120T–those need S65T-Grid or S120T-Grid respectively.
