On cameras with a high, "raised" hot shoe – like mirrorless bodies with a large viewfinder hump – the flash often sits too far back and too high: the light hits your macro subject at an angle from above instead of cleanly from the front. The Guage telescopic bracket holds the Godox iT32 and brings it forward over the lens via its extendable arm – so even bulky cameras get even, frontal close-up lighting.

Light back where you need it
Extend the flash forward
When the hot shoe sits high, close-up light tips in from above and behind – with hard shadows under the subject. With the telescopic arm you extend the iT32 far enough forward that it sits over the front element again and lights your subject head-on.
More control over light direction
Because you set the length freely, you decide the distance and angle at which the light falls on your subject – in macro, where a few millimetres decide between highlight and shadow, a real gain over the rigid seat in the hot shoe.
How it works in practice
Real-world scenario
You shoot with a mirrorless camera with a tall viewfinder hump and a longer macro lens. Directly in the hot shoe the iT32 would hang just behind the front element and cast shadows. Extended forward on the telescopic bracket the flash sits up front, the light comes head-on – detail shots turn out even instead of patchy.

For the Godox iT32
The bracket is designed for the Godox iT32. It may not fit other flash models – check first that you really use the iT32.
Mounting and control via the Godox X3
The bracket mounts on the Godox X3 trigger; the X3 sits in the camera hot shoe and fires/controls the iT32. You need the Godox X3 separately – it is not part of the package.
No diffuser, no flash included
You get the telescopic bracket only. The flash (Godox iT32), the Godox X3, camera and lens are not included; a diffuser is not included either.
