NanoPro Magnetic Clear-Night Filter without adapter ring in 95 mm The Haida magnetic system is an easy-to-use system. The filter is held magnetically on the lens. It is no longer necessary to screw it on or off. Changing filters has never been so easy. The magnetic Clear Night filter is made of ultra-flat glass with a thickness of 1.2 mm. It is designed to reduce light pollution in images or videos that include the night sky and to minimize illumination from artificial light sources such as low-CRI sodium vapor, mercury vapor, and LED street lamps. Light pollution occurs in areas of the night sky that are above or near concentrated and intense artificial light sources, such as in cities. These sources include streetlights, exterior and interior lights on commercial and residential buildings, lighting at sports and entertainment venues, and brightly lit billboards. Together, they can lead to a type of light pollution known as skyglow, in which individual stars, the Milky Way and other astronomical features in the night sky are obscured.
