All you need is a belt—no Spider system required

Clips onto the belt you’re already wearing

The holster has a belt loop and clips directly onto a standard belt. So you don’t have to buy a complete Spider carrying system to use it. If you already have a Spider backpack adapter, you can attach the holster to it instead and switch between your hip and backpack strap in seconds.

The screw-in pin allows you to attach accessories

The SpiderPro QD-Pin v3 screws into your device’s 1/4-inch tripod thread. This gives a flash, an LED light, or a gimbal the same connection that a Spider camera plate would otherwise provide. One device, one pin: If you have multiple devices, it’s worth getting a second pin so you don’t have to unscrew and reattach it every time.

Two modes, depending on the situation

In Auto-Lock mode, the holster locks into place automatically as soon as you insert the pin. To release it, lift the locking lever. If you push the lever all the way up until it clicks into place, the holster stays open, and you can pull the device out without a second step.

Here’s what it looks like in everyday life

Unleashed flashes at a wedding

You’re working with a flash on a tripod and constantly changing positions. Between setups, you clip the flash to your belt instead of putting it in your pocket. Both hands are free for the camera, and the flash is already with you when you move to the next location.

Gimbal on a hike

A gimbal is too bulky for a jacket pocket and too good to be stuck at the bottom of a backpack. The holster on your belt holds gimbals weighing up to 2.3 kg, and you’ll have it within reach as soon as a shot presents itself. If the backpack’s hip belt gets in the way, you can attach the same holster to the shoulder strap using the Spider backpack adapter.

Second camera at the ready

A lightweight mirrorless camera with a small lens weighs less than 2.3 kg and therefore fits in the holster. For cameras, however, Spider offers its own plates that provide a larger contact surface than a single pin. Read the note below for more information.

What You Should Know Before Ordering

The belt is not included

The box contains only the holster and the pin. This is intentional, as the holster fits any standard belt. If you’d still like a Spider belt, you’ll find the selection in the Spider Holster Category.

Not compatible with Spider V2

The V3 generation is not compatible with plates, pins, and holsters from the V2 series. If you’re already using a SpiderPro V2, you won’t be able to reuse its plates here. Before ordering, check which generation your existing accessories are.

A pin is not a camera plate

The screw-in pin fits into the tripod thread and secures the device at a single point. This is intended for accessories like a flash or light and is sufficient for that purpose. If you regularly carry a camera on your hip, a complete Spider carrying system with a camera plate is the better choice.
