Four ways to mount it

You can mount the strap either without a plate at all using the included screws and washers, in the hand strap slot of the Spider v3 camera plate, under an older Spider plate, or under any third-party tripod plate. At the top, it’s threaded through the camera’s carrying eyelet. This makes it a great wrist strap on its own, yet it’s still compatible with the Spider system if you use one.

Doesn’t interfere with the tripod

Because the strap sits between the camera and the tripod plate, it doesn’t block the tripod thread. So you can mount the camera on the tripod without removing the strap. The battery compartment also remains accessible; the strap bends out of the way when you open it.

Molds to the Shape of Your Hand

The memory foam inside retains the shape your hand gives it. After a short time, the strap settles into your preferred grip angle instead of pressing against your hand. You can adjust the top and bottom to fit your hand size.

What You Should Know Before Ordering

A Wrist Strap, Not a Carrying System

The strap holds the camera on your hand; it doesn’t hang it from your hip. If you want to carry the camera hands-free on your belt, you’ll need a Spider V3 carrying system, which you can find in the Spider Holster category. Both can be combined.

For the right hand on the grip

Like any wrist strap, it attaches to the hand holding the grip—that is, on the right side of the camera. If you’re left-handed or use an unusual setup, check in advance to make sure this works for you. If in doubt, give us a call.

Color varies by model

This version is black and made of genuine leather. The SpiderPro wrist strap is also available in other colors; some of them are made of fabric instead of leather.
